About the role

Parkline Motors is seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a wide range of vehicle makes and models. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced dealership environment where turnaround time and consistency matter.

What you'll do

• Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues accurately and efficiently
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs
• Complete repairs to meet dealership quality and safety standards
• Maintain and repair shop equipment as needed
• Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle turnaround
• Keep work area clean and organized and follow all safety procedures

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
• Experience operating automotive tools and shop equipment
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team environment
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic preferred
• Diagnostic experience required
• Welding experience is a plus but not required

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
• On-site role at Parkline Motors
• Fast-paced automotive service environment with a mix of shop work and physical activity

Compensation

Starting pay $25-$30/hour depending on experience
