Are you an IT professional who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and being the person others can count on when technology gets in the way?

JMARK Business Solutions is looking for a System Administrator I to join our team as a dedicated onsite IT resource for one of our banking clients. You will be a JMARK employee while working primarily onsite at the client's location, serving as a trusted technology partner to their employees and working closely with the broader JMARK technical team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with end users, troubleshooting a variety of technical issues, and taking ownership of the IT experience within a professional banking environment.

At JMARK, we believe in People First. Technology Second. That means we are looking for someone who understands that great IT support isn't just about fixing technology. It's about helping people get back to doing their best work.

What You'll Do

As the onsite System Administrator I, you'll be the primary face of JMARK for many day-to-day technology needs at the client location. You'll provide hands-on and remote support, troubleshoot technical issues, maintain systems, and partner with other JMARK technical resources when additional expertise is needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide responsive, professional onsite and remote technical support to end users.
  • Identify, document, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Support Windows desktops, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, VPN connectivity, printers, and other end-user technologies.
  • Troubleshoot basic server, network, router, switch, firewall, and wireless connectivity issues.
  • Support Windows Server environments, including domain and workgroup environments.
  • Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and support client network infrastructure.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and assist with technology installations, upgrades, and equipment deployments.
  • Accurately document service activities and resolutions within ConnectWise and other JMARK systems.
  • Utilize JMARK's remote monitoring, network management, and documentation tools.
  • Escalate technical issues to Level 2 and other JMARK technical teams when appropriate.
  • Communicate clearly with end users about issues, expectations, progress, and resolution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with client employees, managers, and executives through exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in JMARK's on-call rotation as assigned.
  • Assist with additional technology projects as needed.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with a solid IT foundation who enjoys learning, takes ownership of problems, and understands how important communication is when supporting users.

Technical knowledge should include:

  • Proficiency supporting Windows operating systems.
  • Advanced desktop and end-user support experience.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
  • Basic VPN configuration and troubleshooting experience, including technologies such as Cisco and Meraki.
  • Basic understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 networking.
  • Basic Windows Server support knowledge, including Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019 environments.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic internet and network connectivity issues.
  • Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and other network devices.
  • Familiarity with Cisco, Meraki, or similar networking technologies.
  • Understanding of endpoint security technologies, including antivirus, anti-spam, anti-spyware, and related security solutions.
  • Experience with ConnectWise or other PSA, RMM, or IT documentation platforms is a plus.

The Person Who Will Thrive in This Role

Technical skills matter, but how you work with people matters just as much.

You'll be successful if you:

  • Enjoy helping people solve problems.
  • Communicate technical information in a way that makes sense to nontechnical users.
  • Can work independently while knowing when to engage the larger JMARK team.
  • Take ownership and follow issues through to resolution.
  • Stay calm and professional when users have urgent technology needs.
  • Are self-motivated and comfortable managing competing priorities.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enjoy learning new technologies and developing your skills.
  • Look for opportunities to prevent problems instead of simply reacting to them.
  • Value teamwork, accountability, honesty, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Professional Development

We want our people to continue growing. In this role, you'll have opportunities to:

Participate in ongoing technical training.

Pursue manufacturer and software certifications.

Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Share your knowledge and areas of expertise with other JMARK team members.

Participate in company-sponsored activities related to your position.

Build technical and professional skills that can prepare you for future opportunities within JMARK.

Schedule and Compensation

Salary Range: $49,000 - $60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

We have two schedule options available:

6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

This position is primarily onsite at one of JMARK's banking clients and is designed to provide consistent, responsive IT support to the client's employees.
