Systems and Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Systems & Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, support, and ongoing improvement of the organization’s systems, network, cloud, and collaboration environments.


The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across networking, storage, Microsoft technologies, and cloud infrastructure. They will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, troubleshooting complex issues, and identifying opportunities to introduce new technologies and improve existing systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  •  Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise systems and network infrastructure.
  • Manage and support network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and remote access technologies.
  • Administer and optimize Fortinet and Cisco networking environments.
  • Manage storage infrastructure, including NAS and SAN platforms, with a focus on NetApp and Synology technologies.
  • Maintain and support Windows Server environments, including upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services and related infrastructure.
  • Deploy, manage, and support Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Participate in infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and deliver infrastructure improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce new technologies and enhance operational efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Systems, Network, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
  • Strong experience with Fortinet (FortiGate) firewalls and security solutions.
  • Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies, including switching, routing, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Experience configuring and supporting VPN and remote access solutions.
  • Hands-on experience managing NAS and SAN environments, particularly NetApp and Synology platforms.
  • Strong administration experience with Windows Server environments.
  • Experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365, including user and service management.
  • Experience deploying and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure services.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across networking, systems, storage, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
