The Role

We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA, and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will thrive in a dynamic environment where your clinical expertise is valued, and your schedule is yours to control.

What You'll Bring (Requirements)

• Certification: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania.
• Health Requirements: Physician/CRNP-signed physical completed within the past 12 months stating that you are free from communicable diseases and cleared to perform job duties; current 2-Step TB documentation completed within the past 12 months, or a current 1-Step TB with proper documentation of a previous 2-Step TB.
• Background: Must be able to pass a Pennsylvania Criminal History Background Check. Applicants who have not lived continuously in Pennsylvania for the past two years must complete and pay for the required FBI fingerprint-based background check.
• Reliability: Consistent attendance, punctuality, and communication regarding scheduled shifts.
• Skills: Strong communication, sound judgment, attention to resident safety, and the ability to follow care plans and facility procedures.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience preferred.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Daily Living Assistance: Provide compassionate support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Resident Comfort: Assist with positioning, ambulation, and transfers to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Health Monitoring: Accurately measure and document vital signs, weight checks, intake/output, and blood glucose levels.
• Responsiveness: Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
• Specimen Collection: Perform urine tests and specimen collections as directed by the RN or LPN.
