Job Summary
- Momentum is seeking a Protocol Analyst to support advanced signal analysis and characterization efforts
- The successful candidate will analyze signal characteristics to determine structure, define parameters, model signal behavior, and evaluate networking and protocol characteristics
- This role requires strong technical depth in RF systems and SIGINT-related disciplines
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze RF signals to determine structure, parameters, behavior, and performance characteristics
- Conduct signal characterization, modeling, and protocol/network analysis
- Evaluate complex signal environments and identify technical characteristics relevant to mission requirements
- Support research and development activities involving advanced RF technologies
- Document analysis results and provide technical findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with engineering, intelligence, and mission stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Associates degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
- Strong demonstrated experience with networking and communications protocols
- Experience performing RF signal analysis and characterization
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with complex and emerging signal technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: COMINT, ELINT, or FISINT
- R&D experience involving advanced signal technologies
- Experience supporting weapons or space-related mission areas
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
