Position Overview

Netwrix is seeking a Contracts Manager, to lead and strengthen our contract administration function as we continue to scale and mature our operations. This role requires a leader who can operate strategically while also staying close to day-to-day execution. The ideal candidate brings strong operational discipline, sound judgment, and the ability to drive consistency, compliance, and team performance across the contract lifecycle.

This position offers the opportunity for meaningful impact: improving the efficiency and quality of contract administration processes; supporting Legal Counsel and business stakeholders through effective partnership; and ensuring we maintain strong governance, compliance, and data integrity in our contract operations. The successful candidate will combine leadership capability with operational credibility, thriving in a fast-moving environment where contract administration is both a critical control function and an enabler of business execution.


Key Responsibilities

Contract Administration Strategy & Governance

  • Lead execution of established contract administration strategies and governance standards within assigned scope.
  • Ensure team adherence to policies, procedures, controls, and approval frameworks.
  • Enforce consistency and discipline across contract administration practices to support operational excellence and compliance.

Contract Lifecycle Oversight

  • Oversee day-to-day administration of contracts across execution, amendments, renewals, terminations, and compliance tracking.
  • Ensure timelines, quality, accuracy, and consistency are met throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Maintain strong oversight of contract records and related documentation to support reliable administration processes.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure contract compliance monitoring processes are followed and operational risks are identified and addressed appropriately.
  • Serve as an escalation point for contract administration issues, compliance concerns, and deviations from established standards.
  • Support audit readiness and contract performance reviews through disciplined controls and documentation practices.

Stakeholder Partnership & Influence

  • Partner with Legal Counsel and business stakeholders to support contract reviews, issue resolution, and negotiation processes.
  • Provide operational and compliance leadership during contract negotiations, offering administrative and risk-related insights.
  • Build effective working relationships across functions to support timely, accurate, and business-aligned contract administration.

People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Manage, coach, and develop contract administration team members, including performance management and ongoing skill development.
  • Build team capability and operational discipline to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and strong professional judgment across the team.

Systems, Technology & Data Enablement

  • Ensure effective use of CLM systems, reporting tools, and related technologies supporting contract administration operations.
  • Ideal candidate will have specific knowledge of leading CLM tools, experience implementing CLM tool(s), and managing related integrations and workflows.
  • Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of contract records and data within CLM systems.
  • Support system adoption, data quality, and process standardization across the team.

Reporting, Analytics & Insights

  • Provide management-level reporting on contract status, renewals, compliance metrics, and operational performance.
  • Deliver clear insights to managers and stakeholders on contract administration matters.
  • Support reporting needs related to audits, governance reviews, and business performance tracking.

Process Optimization & Operational Excellence

  • Identify inefficiencies and opportunities to improve process consistency, service delivery, and team effectiveness.
  • Drive process improvements within the contract administration function to strengthen quality and efficiency.
  • Support adoption of new processes, tools, and governance practices as part of change initiatives and operational transformation.


Required Qualifications

  • Leadership & Team Management – Proven experience managing and developing professionals in a contract administration, legal operations, procurement, or related business support function, with demonstrated ability to coach, guide, and build team capability.
  • Contract Administration Strategy & Governance – Strong experience executing contract administration strategies and governance standards, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, controls, and approval frameworks.
  • Contract Lifecycle Oversight – Demonstrated experience overseeing contract execution, amendments, renewals, terminations, and related administrative processes with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
  • Compliance & Risk Management – Experience supporting contract compliance monitoring, identifying operational risks, and escalating issues appropriately within established governance structures.
  • Stakeholder Partnership & Influence – Proven ability to partner effectively with Legal Counsel and business stakeholders to resolve contract administration issues and support negotiations and contract reviews.
  • Systems, Technology & Data Enablement – Hands-on experience with CLM systems and reporting tools, including responsibility for data quality, process consistency, and system adoption.
  • Reporting, Analytics & Insights – Strong ability to prepare and communicate management-level reporting on contract status, renewals, compliance metrics, and operational performance.
  • Process Optimization & Operational Excellence – Experience identifying inefficiencies and driving improvements in workflows, service delivery, and team operations.
  • Decision-Making & Professional Judgment – Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgment in resolving operational issues, balancing business needs with governance requirements, and escalating when appropriate.
  • Executive Communication – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with managers and stakeholders on contract administration matters.
  • Change Leadership & Transformation – Experience supporting adoption of new processes, tools, and governance practices within a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience leading a contract administration or legal operations team in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Prior experience leading customer and vendor facing negotiations, and driving contracts to completion with limited oversight.
  • Background working closely with Legal, Procurement, Sales Operations, Finance, or other cross-functional business teams.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management platforms and related reporting or workflow tools.
  • Familiarity with audit support, compliance controls, and operational governance in a growing organization, including developing and maintaining contract playbooks and policies.
  • Experience supporting process improvements, transformation initiatives, or scaling operational practices across teams.
