Senior Director, Embedded Agentic Commerce

Role Overview

Order.co is seeking a Senior Director, Embedded Agentic Commerce to lead one of the company’s most strategic and fastest-growing channels This leader will own the Embedded Agentic Commerce POD — a cross-functional growth and commercialization function responsible for scaling partner ecosystems, driving adoption and monetization, and building repeatable playbooks successful ecosystem partner deployments.


This role sits at the intersection of ecommerce, marketplace strategy, partnerships, growth consulting, commercialization, and product enablement. You will work closely with Partnerships, Product, Forward Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to help software ecosystems successfully launch and grow embedded commerce offerings powered by Order.co.


The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational rigor and customer-facing leadership. They should be comfortable building new motions from scratch, leading cross-functional initiatives in ambiguous environments, and acting as both an executive consultant and operator for partners adopting embedded commerce.


This is a highly entrepreneurial leadership opportunity with broad influence across company strategy, partner success, and revenue growth. The role is designed with a clear path toward VP-level leadership as the Embedded Agentic Commerce business scales, including increasing ownership over team structure, commercial strategy, and business operations.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Embedded Agentic Commerce POD

  • Build and lead the Embedded Agentic Commerce POD, including strategy, execution, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination
  • Develop scalable operating models for onboarding, activating, monetizing, and expanding embedded commerce partners
  • Define organizational processes, success metrics, partner playbooks, and commercialization frameworks
  • Serve as executive owner for strategic embedded commerce partnerships and ecosystem relationships
  • Build and scale a high-performing cross-functional team as the business grows

Own Business Growth & P&L Performance

  • Own and influence a growing P&L line associated with Embedded Agentic Commerce revenue growth and partner monetization
  • Drive GMV, transaction activity, partner revenue contribution, and overall ecosystem profitability
  • Develop business cases, investment frameworks, and prioritization models to support scaling the Embedded Agentic Commerce business
  • Partner with executive leadership on forecasting, strategic planning, and long-term business expansion

Team Leadership & POD Management

  • Lead and scale a cross-functional Embedded Agentic Commerce POD responsible for partner growth, commercialization, implementation, and ongoing ecosystem success
  • Directly oversee and help develop team members across Business Development, Sales, Ecommerce Growth Marketing, and Forward Deployment Engineering functions
  • Create alignment across commercial, technical, and operational teams to ensure successful partner launches and long-term growth outcomes
  • Establish clear operating rhythms, KPIs, accountability structures, and execution frameworks across the POD
  • Drive prioritization and resource allocation across strategic partner initiatives and ecosystem opportunities
  • Mentor and coach emerging leaders while helping build a high-performance, entrepreneurial culture centered around ownership and execution

Ecosystem & Partner Growth

  • Partner with Vertical SaaS platforms, GPOs, marketplaces, and software ecosystems embedding Order.co into their products as a revenue-generating service
  • Help partners design and optimize commerce experiences that increase activation, retention, transaction volume, and monetization
  • Advise partners on ecommerce best practices, growth experimentation, customer lifecycle engagement, and marketplace optimization
  • Drive executive-level business reviews and strategic planning sessions with partners

Commercialization & Growth Strategy

  • Own the embedded commerce growth strategy across acquisition, activation, monetization, retention, and expansion
  • Develop consultative testing frameworks and experimentation roadmaps across partner ecosystems
  • Build scalable growth playbooks that can be replicated across multiple partner segments and verticals
  • Collaborate with GTM leadership to define positioning, packaging, and monetization strategies for Embedded Agentic Commerce

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Product and Forward Engineering teams to align roadmap priorities with partner and market needs
  • Work alongside Partnerships and Sales teams to support strategic deals and ecosystem expansion
  • Collaborate with Marketing on enablement content, customer storytelling, ecosystem campaigns, and partner communications
  • Help shape future hiring plans and organizational design for the POD as the business scales

Analytics & Operational Excellence

  • Own KPIs across partner activation, GMV growth, transaction activity, retention, monetization, and ecosystem health
  • Build reporting structures and operating cadences that provide visibility into partner performance and growth opportunities
  • Use data-driven decision making to prioritize investments, experiments, and strategic initiatives
  • Create measurable frameworks for evaluating ecosystem success and partner maturity

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience across ecommerce, SaaS, marketplaces, embedded commerce, partnerships, consulting, or growth strategy
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or business units in high-growth environments
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce metrics, monetization models, and lifecycle growth strategies
  • Proven ability to build systems, processes, teams, and commercial programs from zero to scale ready
  • Experience working with software ecosystems, channel partners, or strategic accounts
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using data to drive prioritization and decision-making
  • Comfortable operating as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator

  • Experience in procurement technology, fintech, payments, or B2B marketplaces
  • Agency or consulting experience improving ecommerce growth, monetization, or customer engagement
  • Experience owning a business line, revenue target, or P&L

The anticipated annual salary for this role is $250,000 OTE. Actual compensation and title will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
