Paradise Media Recruitment

SEO Executive

Paradise Media is a privately owned media company with a global portfolio of sports and iGaming brands.

About the role

Paradise Media is a privately owned media company with a global portfolio of sports and iGaming brands. We’re hiring an SEO Executive in Malta to help improve a group of sites in competitive search markets.

You’ll take SEO work from brief through implementation and results, with support from experienced SEOs, developers and content specialists. There are no clients or accounts, so you’ll remain close to the work and see what happens after it goes live.

The role follows a hybrid schedule from our Balluta Bay office in Malta, right on the water, with panoramic sea views and a full-size private gym.

What you’ll do

  • Complete on-page optimisation, internal linking, content updates and smaller technical fixes across assigned sites.
  • Research link opportunities and help turn off-page priorities into clear plans.
  • Turn team priorities into shipped changes while raising problems or opportunities you notice along the way.
  • Spot straightforward SEO opportunities, propose the next action and take smaller improvements from idea through implementation and measurement.
  • Run keyword research, prepare useful on-page briefs and optimise pages with limited supervision.
  • Use AI tools to research, execute and check SEO work before it goes live.
  • Help investigate problems involving crawling, indexing, templates and internal linking, then implement the fixes.
  • Track what you ship, report what moved and use feedback and results to improve the quality and speed of your work.

What we’re looking for

  • Some hands-on SEO experience gained through a role, internship, freelance work or your own sites.
  • Able to complete standard keyword research, on-page optimisation and internal-linking work with limited supervision.
  • A working understanding of search intent, content basics and the main causes of crawling and indexing problems.
  • Familiarity with Google Search Console, analytics, crawling and backlink tools. We care more about what you can find than which brand of tool you have used.
  • Experience using AI for research, analysis or implementation, or evidence that you learn new technical tools quickly.
  • Based in Malta or willing to relocate, and able to work from the Saint Julian’s office on a hybrid schedule.

Useful, but not essential

  • Experience with WordPress or large websites.
  • Exposure to conversion as well as rankings and traffic.
  • Experience working directly with content writers or developers.

What success looks like after six months

You independently ship standard SEO improvements, explain why they were prioritised and report clearly on what changed afterwards.

Why join Paradise Media

  • Work with experienced SEOs who compare approaches and share what they learn.
  • Get useful feedback while taking on increasingly independent work.
  • Work on sites where good and bad decisions show up clearly in the data, creating a fast learning loop.
  • Use AI tools daily as part of practical SEO work.
  • Receive a competitive salary and 27 days of paid annual leave, plus public holidays.
  • Work from our Balluta Bay office, with a full-size gym, personal trainers, Secretlab gaming chairs, 49-inch monitors, fresh fruit and vegetables, and the sea outside the window.

How to apply

If you want to become a stronger SEO by shipping work and learning from the results, we would like to hear from you. When you apply, include one example of a page or site you helped improve and what changed afterwards.
