What we are looking for:

Partner Forces is seeking a curious, solutions-oriented Power Platform Developer & Data Analyst to support technology, data, and reporting initiatives across our federal client portfolio. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with foundational experience in Microsoft Power Platform, data analysis, and visualization who wants to expand their technical capabilities through hands-on work and mentorship from an experienced technical lead.

The right person will be comfortable building practical solutions, working directly with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders, and translating business needs into dashboards, applications, automated workflows, and useful reporting products. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys learning, and can balance technical development with strong communication and customer service. You do not need to know every platform or tool on day one, but you should have the technical foundation and growth mindset to learn quickly.

What you'll do:

  • Support the development and maintenance of Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power BI dashboards, Power Apps, and Power Automate flows.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, trackers, and other analytical products that help clients understand performance, trends, and outcomes.
  • Assist with SharePoint administration, including site organization, permissions, lists, document libraries, and integrations with Power Platform tools.
  • Gather requirements from clients and internal stakeholders and translate those needs into practical technical solutions.
  • Clean, organize, analyze, and visualize data using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and potentially Python.
  • Help manage Power Platform solutions through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Create and maintain Excel-based tools, including formulas, pivot tables, data models, and macros.
  • Test, troubleshoot, document, and improve existing applications, dashboards, workflows, and reporting processes.
  • Develop clear user guides, standard operating procedures, training materials, and other client-facing documentation.
  • Support the preparation of data summaries, after-action reports, impact reports, and audit-ready deliverables.
  • Contribute to internal technology initiatives, which may include SharePoint, lightweight application development, technical demonstrations, and employee-facing tools.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, application development, business analysis, or a related area.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools, such as Power BI, Power Apps, or Power Automate.
  • Strong Excel skills, including experience working with formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning, and large or complex datasets.
  • Ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear technical or analytical requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in improving inefficient or manual processes.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to nontechnical audiences.
  • Strong writing, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Next Steps:

If your application looks like a match, someone from our People Operations team will reach out to schedule a phone screening. During this conversation, we will determine if the current or future position aligns with your experience and skills. If things go well, from there you'll meet with members from the project team, including the hiring manager and teammates, and possibly be asked to submit a writing assessment to showcase your practical knowledge. If we find you are a match, you’ll get a call offering you the role. While we wish we could hire every great candidate who comes our way, the reality is that we can't. If you are not selected, we will be sure to connect with you and let you know so you can move on with your search. We will also keep your resume for future needs.
