Job Description

Due to high client demand, Performance.io is expanding again.

We're looking for a talented Junior Commercial Operations Executive to join the performance-io team. In this role, you'll work closely with the client-facing business units as well as internal teams supporting the commercial infrastructure that underpins the agency's growth.

As a Junior Commercial Operations Executive, your responsibilities will span forecasting and financial reporting, pricing and commercial frameworks, CRM data integrity, and support for proposal and pitch creation, alongside collaboration with Marketing on outreach and lead generation. This is an internally-focused role at heart: you'll be the person ensuring the numbers, templates, records and documentation the wider business relies on are accurate, current, and consistently maintained.

Being part of a close-knit, London-based global team, you will have great visibility and exposure to senior directors in the company and the opportunity to progressively take on more responsibility early in your career.

Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and committed individual with a strong eye for detail and a genuine interest in how a commercial function operates behind the scenes.

  • Support the creation and formatting of proposal decks, budgets, and Statement of Work (SOW) documentation

  • Maintain data accuracy within budget sheets and proposal documents, checking figures before circulation
  • Ensure consistent, organised filing of budgets, SOWs and proposals for easy retrieval and audit purposes

Pricing & Commercial Frameworks

  • Support the ongoing maintenance of pricing documentation and commercial frameworks
  • Assist in gathering data and preparing pricing analysis to inform commercial decisions
  • Build and demonstrate a solid understanding of core product offerings and how pricing structures are applied across them

CRM & Pipeline Data (Salesforce)

  • Maintain accurate CRM data, following established data-entry and governance processes
  • Support reporting and pipeline tracking activities within Salesforce, flagging inconsistencies where identified
  • Develop and demonstrate understanding of CRM best practice and data hygiene, contributing to a reliable single source of commercial truth

Outreach, Lead Generation & Market Insight

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to support outreach campaigns, lead generation activity, and conference preparation
  • Conduct basic horizon scanning research on prospects, industries, and market trends to surface potential opportunities and risks
  • Maintain accurate lead and opportunity records within CRM systems, ensuring information stays current as prospects move through the pipeline

Cross-functional Support

  • Support client services teams in developing pitch presentations and project proposals for prospective clients
  • Work alongside Marketing on data gathering, formatting, and proofreading for marketing initiatives, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and messaging
  • Support tracking of project timelines, dependencies and risks to ensure delivery stays on schedule
  • Proactively anticipate tasks and questions by observing senior team members, escalating issues before they become problems
  • Support the identification and integration of technology, automation, and AI tools to drive efficiencies across commercial workflows, working closely with the CTO, Innovation function, and Operations team

Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years' experience in a business analytics or commercial operations role
