About the role

As a Care Coordinator, you'll act as a central point of contact, coordinating various aspects of our members' healthcare needs and fostering strong relationships with providers. What you'll do

Member Care Coordination

  • Coordinate in-person and urgent care appointments.
  • Arrange lab work, imaging, and other necessary healthcare services.
  • Assist members with navigating their Planstin and Primestin membership benefits.
  • Manage healthcare referrals and coordinate follow-up care.
  • Help members find the right healthcare resources and appropriate providers for virtual care, specialties, labs, and specific needs, even for those outside of St. George, Utah.
  • Collaborate with members and providers to collect necessary billing codes for surgeries and major medical procedures, coordinating with our claims team for review and processing.

Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of healthcare coordination principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathetically interact with members and providers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience with healthcare billing and provider relations is a plus.
  • This position requires a proactive individual who is dedicated to enhancing the patient experience through effective coordination of care.
