Position Title: Safety Training Manager

Position Location: Hybrid - work from anywhere in the United States. Must be located near a major airport.

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% domestic travel. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to rent vehicles.

Job Summary 

QC Servion is seeking a Safety Training Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) training programs across the QC Ecosystem.


This role is responsible for creating and delivering engaging, technically accurate training programs focused on construction safety, electrical safety, commissioning activities, regulatory compliance, and workforce competency. The Safety Training Manager develops curricula, instructor-led training, eLearning content, presentations, competency evaluations, and certification programs that support a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, ANSI, and client-specific requirements.


The Safety Training Manager partners closely with the Safety Compliance Coordinator and reports to the Director of Safety to ensure all training materials, qualification standards, and competency programs remain current, effective, and aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.


This position may require travel up to 50% to support training delivery, field evaluations, program development, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Essential Functions 

Curriculum Development

  • Design and develop comprehensive safety training programs for construction, electrical, commissioning, and industrial operations.
  • Develop learning objectives, lesson plans, instructor guides, participant manuals, practical exercises, and competency evaluations.
  • Create training matrices aligned with job classifications and risk exposure.
  • Develop onboarding, refresher, annual, and certification-based training programs.
  • Maintain training content aligned with OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, ANSI standards, client requirements, and company policies.

Training Content & Presentation Development

  • Design professional training materials for classroom, virtual, and field-based delivery.
  • Develop engaging safety content including:
    • PowerPoint presentations
    • Infographics
    • Diagrams
    • Electrical illustrations
    • Arc flash graphics
    • Case studies
    • Interactive exercises
    • Videos
    • Knowledge assessments
  • Create executive-level presentations for leadership and client meetings.
  • Produce toolbox talks, safety alerts, and micro-learning content.

  • Conduct train-the-trainer programs.

Learning Management & Reporting

  • Support administration of the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Track employee training completion records.
  • Generate regulatory and compliance reports.
  • Schedule required training activities.
  • Monitor certification and qualification expiration dates.
  • Evaluate course effectiveness through metrics, assessments, and participant feedback.

Position Requirements 

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Safety, Engineering, Education, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent experience and certifications considered.
  • 8–10 years of progressive safety experience.
  • 5+ years developing and delivering safety training programs.
  • Experience in construction safety and electrical safety environments.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.
  • Experience creating presentations, training materials, and learning content for technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • OSHA regulations
    • NFPA 70E
    • Electrical commissioning

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 50%, this may include travel to any or all 50 US states.
