Reserv is an insurtech creating and incubating cutting-edge AI and automation technology to bring efficiency and simplicity to claims. Founded by insurtech veterans with deep experience in SaaS and digital claims, Reserv is venture-backed by Bain Capital and Altai Ventures and began operations in May 2022. We are focused on automating highly manual tasks to tackle long-standing problems in claims and set a new standard for TPAs, insurance technology providers, and adjusters alike. Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying production-ready software using Ruby (and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails) and some familiarity or willingness to work with modern front-end technologies (React, Typescript) when needed.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, reliable software. We appreciate engineers who explore side projects, contribute to open-source, or publish technical content, demonstrating a passion for continuous learning.
• Deep expertise in backend development. You understand API design, data modeling, performance optimization, and security best practices - while still keeping the user experience in mind.
• Versatility and willingness to learn. You’re primarily focused on the backend, but you’re comfortable stepping into front-end or infrastructure tasks when needed - whether its debugging a React component, fixing a security vulnerability, or helping optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, comfortable partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless product experiences.
