Senior Brand Marketing Manager

About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.

About the role

Rippling is building a world-class brand to match the ambition of our platform, and we're looking for a sharp, creative, and operationally excellent Senior Brand Marketing Manager to help lead the charge.

As a natural storyteller with exceptional taste and strong creative instincts, you'll be the right hand to the Head of Brand Marketing, turning strategic insights and data into high-performing creative and GTM strategies that elevate Rippling beyond HR software into the AI-native platform for how great businesses run.

This role spans four tentpole areas of brand ownership: bringing our new brand positioning to life through two major national campaigns; standing up our always-on "brandformance" media function; owning the product launch narrative and creative briefing for every release; and shaping XFN—Rippling's first user conference—into a can't-miss brand moment in April 2027.

You'll partner closely with Creative, Social, and Content teams to bring the work to life, alongside Growth, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Events. This is a strategist's role that lives and dies by the brief, and a unique opportunity to help shape one of the most exciting brand transformations in B2B.

What you will do

  • Lead always-on brandformance media creative strategy: end-to-end creative briefing, execution, and iteration through ongoing creative testing in partnership with Creative and Growth teams.
  • Own brand measurement & reporting: from monthly creative performance readouts to the performance and creative feedback loop.
  • Build cross-functional frameworks and paid optimizations across the org: defining what "great" looks like for paid influencer content, customer activations, content programs, and more.
  • Craft the product launch narrative strategy & creative briefs for every launch, in lockstep with Product, Product Marketing, and Creative teams, so every major release tells a cohesive brand story.
  • Spearhead customer, competitive, and category research and synthesize into insights and data that sharpen positioning and briefs.
  • Be the connective tissue between Creative, Growth, and PMM: manage internal creative team and external vendor relationships, brief and keep the work on rails, and hold the line on quality and brand adherence across assets before they go to market.

What you will need

  • 7–10 years of experience in brand marketing, integrated campaigns, or creative strategy (in-house or agency)
  • A killer brief writer: can take sprawling, complex inputs and distill them into a single, sharp message that creative teams can build against. Sans AI slop.
  • A track record of campaigns or creative programs that moved both brand and performance metrics
  • Fluency in media and campaign performance data across channels (Broadcast, CTV, Paid Social, Influencer), with the ability to translate it into creative feedback
  • Experience managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, feedback loops, and competing timelines without letting quality slip
  • Experience managing creative agencies or external vendor relationships, from briefing through final delivery
  • Detail-oriented enough to sweat the copy, specs, and channel details, but can still zoom out and see the forest through the trees on brand narrative and strategy
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building process from scratch, and always looking for ways to “hack the system”
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS, multi-product portfolios, or category creation is a plus, as is direct experience working with Product Marketing or leading experiential events from a brand POV.

Why Join Rippling's Brand Team?

  • You'll help define the next household brand name, built on a category-defining product, with exec buy-in to challenge the default setting in B2B and take real creative swings.
  • You'll own high-visibility, first-of-their-kind moments for Rippling, from an always-on media engine to the company's first user conference.
  • You'll partner with some of the sharpest marketers, creatives, and product thinkers in the industry.
  • You'll have big-company resources within a scrappy, startup-minded team. This is a relatively nascent function within the org, and the opportunity for impact is limitless.
