Senior Site Manager

Position Responsibilities:


This senior leadership role directs shop and multi-site field operations from fabrication through installation, commissioning, and maintenance, ensuring complex projects remain safe, organized, on schedule, and financially disciplined.

  • Lead fabrication, assembly, delivery, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities across shop and multiple field locations.
  • Develop and manage staffing plans, resources, schedules, budgets, and critical project milestones.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop employees, temporary personnel, subcontractors, contracted labor, and field or warehouse teams.
  • Build productive working relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, unions, vendors, customers, and corporate leadership.
  • Establish and oversee shop, warehouse, and field offices, including weekly scheduling and daily site operations.
  • Monitor fabrication and assembly quality while ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate job-site deliveries, receiving, inventory, storage, packaging, and movement of materials, tools, equipment, and components.
  • Maintain accurate site administration, including timesheets, daily reports, receiving documentation, electronic project records, and safety documentation.
  • Communicate project status, field conditions, schedules, materials, and cost considerations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implement and enforce project-specific and OSHA safety requirements while supporting regular safety meetings.
  • Represent our client during project, superintendent, assembly, and coordination meetings.
  • Provide hands-on technical and skilled labor support when required to keep project execution moving forward.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives involving quality, efficiency, installation, assembly, maintenance, performance, and cost control.
  • Travel extensively to project sites, including extended assignments away from the home base, up to 90% of the time.

Position requirements:

  • 10+ years of field construction experience, including substantial supervisory or leadership responsibility.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, coach, and direct teams while managing complex projects.
  • Strong communication skills across management, employees, vendors, contractors, and customers.
  • Working knowledge of design, modeling, scheduling, budgeting, and ERP software, including Excel and eDrawings.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and deliver results against demanding deadlines.
  • Strong judgment and creative problem-solving skills when addressing complex project and business challenges.
  • Consistent initiative, accuracy, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 90%, including extended assignments away from the home base.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience leading multi-site operations for large, complex projects such as stadiums, entertainment venues, or specialized structures.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Certified Rigger, Forklift Safety Training, NFPA 70E Arc Flash Training, and/or First Aid Training.
  • Track record of leading continuous improvement, process optimization, or quality management initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
