Senior Lead Full Stack Engineer (.NET/Vue)

A Day in the Life:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable .NET applications across web, API, desktop, Windows Service, and background-processing workloads.
  • Maintain and enhance production-critical WinForms applications and SOAP/WCF service layers through bug fixes, performance improvements, integrations, and targeted feature development.
  • Develop modern, cloud-native web applications using C#, .NET 6+, TypeScript, Vue.js, REST APIs, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Partner with the Solution Architect and engineering team to implement established architectural patterns, technical standards, and modernization priorities.
  • Help define and execute the transition from legacy SOAP services and older .NET technologies to modern REST-based architecture patterns.
  • Design, build, document, and maintain REST APIs using C#, Swagger, and OData.
  • Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including data models, queries, stored procedures, and application data-access patterns.
  • Apply object-oriented design principles, SOLID practices, common design patterns, and Clean Architecture to produce secure, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Build, deploy, and support containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Helm.
  • Actively use AI tools, including Claude through our Anthropic partnership, to streamline tasks, improve the quality of your work, and share best practices with teammates while continuously seeking new ways to integrate AI into your everyday workflows
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and deployment processes using tools such as GitHub Actions and Octopus Deploy.
  • Monitor application health and performance using logs, metrics, dashboards, and other observability tools, proactively resolving reliability or performance concerns.
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, and guidance to other engineers across legacy and modern technology stacks.
  • Support user acceptance testing, production releases, incident resolution, and the team’s on-call rotation.
  • Contribute to reporting and analytics capabilities using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Informer when required.
  • Communicate proactively across a distributed team while balancing ongoing production support with delivery of the next-generation cloud platform.

What it takes:

  • Consultative approach and problem solving skills to successfully align digital solutions with long-term business goals of the client
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance daily work, or a strong desire to do so, including a willingness to experiment, learn, and champion AI adoption within your role
  • Claude Certified Developer or Architect highly preferred; possible opportunity to obtain as a Sparq colleague
  • Commitment to understanding and exceeding client expectations
