About Sprintlaw (UK) Ltd
Sprintlaw is a fast-growing legal services company on a mission to change the way legal services are delivered to startups and small businesses.
After massive success in Australia and the UK, we’re now going stateside, and we’re looking for our first US-based hire to help us build Sprintlaw in the United States.
We’ve built our business around making legal services simpler, more accessible and more affordable. Rather than the traditional law firm model, we use technology, fixed-fee pricing and streamlined processes to give small businesses a much better legal experience.
Our growth has been recognised internationally, including being named Alternative Legal Service Provider of the Year at the 2024 British Legal Awards and Innovator of the Year at the 2024 British Legal Technology Awards.

Our clients range from early-stage founders and local businesses through to fast-growing technology companies. We help them with the legal work businesses regularly need, including company formation, commercial contracts, intellectual property, employment, fundraising, privacy and online terms.
We run Sprintlaw more like a technology startup than a traditional law firm, with customer experience, creativity, experimentation and lean thinking at the core of how we operate.
This isn’t just another sales role.
You’ll be Sprintlaw’s first hire on the ground in the United States, joining us at the beginning of our US expansion and helping establish how we sell, grow and operate in the market.
You’ll work closely with our Director of International Markets, alongside our international sales, operations and legal teams.
Initially, your focus will be converting inbound enquiries from US startups and small businesses into clients. As we grow, there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in developing our US sales strategy, improving our processes, building partnerships and helping shape the broader US operation.
For someone entrepreneurial who wants to join an international business at an early stage of its US expansion, there is significant room to make the role your own.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Because you’ll be joining at an early stage, you may also have the opportunity to get involved in partnerships, business development, events, sales strategy and other US growth initiatives.
This is a customer-facing role involving a high volume of conversations with founders, business owners and our legal team, so excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
We’re looking for someone who has:
Experience in legal services, professional services, startups or B2B sales will be looked upon favourably.
A legal background is highly desirable, particularly if you understand the kinds of legal issues startups and small businesses encounter, but this is fundamentally a commercial and sales-focused role.
You’ll be joining Sprintlaw at a particularly exciting point in our growth.
We’ve already built successful operations in Australia and the UK. Now, you’ll have the opportunity to be one of the first people helping us build the next chapter in the United States.
As our first US sales hire, you’ll have much more ownership than you would in a typical established sales team. You’ll be able to influence how we approach the US market, provide direct feedback on our offering and processes, and grow alongside the business.
You’ll also get:
We take flexible working seriously. Sprintlaw has operated with distributed teams for years, and we care much more about communication, accountability and results than where you happen to be sitting.
If you’re excited by sales, startups and the opportunity to help build a proven international legal services business in the United States, we’d love to hear from you.
Please submit your resume outlining your relevant experience and why you think you’d be a great fit for Sprintlaw.
At this stage, only successful candidates will be contacted.
Applicants must have valid authorization to work in the United States. Candidates must be able to work remotely from within the US.
