Open Roles

Head of Agriculture Operations

Our mission is to stabilize Earth’s climate by transforming nature’s most powerful permanent carbon removal process into a global climate solution. By advancing science, building technology, and assembling a global coalition, we are catalyzing a global initiative to scale Enhanced Rock Weathering within the next decade, starting in Brazil.

Founded out of the Stanford University ecosystem, Terradot is led by the world’s leading experts to advance the science and technology of ERW. Our unique structure bridges industry, academia, and government and allows our team to contribute with speed & scale. We are backed byJohn Doerr, Sheryl Sandberg & Tom Bernthal, George Roberts, Microsoft’s Climate Innovation Fund, Google, Cisco and Venture Funds, Floodgate, Kleiner Perkins, Acre Venture Partners, Gigascale Capital, Valor Capital, Ponderosa Ventures and others.

In early 2026, Terradot acquired Eion Corp., a U.S.-based ERW company with projects across the Mid-South and Midwest — and the first company to issue verified ERW carbon credits. This role is dedicated to expanding Eion's previous project work in Mississippi, now fully integrated into Terradot's global platform.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Research suggests that qualified people from historically marginalized groups may self-select out of opportunities if they don't meet 100% of the job requirements. We encourage individuals who believe they have the skills necessary to thrive to apply for this role.

About the role

  • We are seeking a driven, operationally experienced Head of Agriculture Operations for the Mid-South to lead the full commercial deployment of our soil amendment program across the Mississippi Delta and surrounding region. This is a senior, boots-on-the-ground leadership role for someone who has spent their career in and around terminal, retail, and farm-level operations — and understands how products actually move through the agri-input supply chain.
  • You will be the primary operational owner in region: managing logistics, deepening relationships with key channel partners, coordinating soil sampling and R&D activities, and ensuring every ton of product placed is placed correctly, on time, and backed by agronomic support. You will operate with significant regional autonomy while working closely with our headquarters team — and as we grow, you will build and lead the U.S. regional field team.

What you'll do

End-to-End Deployment Management

  • Own the full deployment lifecycle — from product intake at terminal through final farm-level application — including seasonal planning, logistics coordination, and real-time progress tracking.
  • Serve as primary point of accountability for regional volume, timeliness, and deployment quality, reporting transparently to headquarters.

Terminal, Retail & Farm Relationships

  • Build and maintain trusted working relationships with terminal operators, co-ops, ag retailers, independent dealers, and farm operators across the Mississippi Delta.
  • Understand each channel partner's operational realities — handling capabilities, seasonal priorities, customer base — and translate this into smarter deployment planning.
  • Conduct regular farm visits to support agronomic placement decisions, farmer education, and product feedback loops.

Application Logistics & Last-Mile Execution

  • Manage trucking and application logistics — relationships with trucking operators, scheduling, load optimization, and spreading coordination across diverse field conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipments, applications, and placements in support of Terradot's MRV (Measurement, Reporting & Verification) requirements.

Soil Sampling & R&D Partnership

  • Work with soil sampling partners and R&D collaborators to design and execute in-region trial and monitoring programs aligned with Terradot's carbon measurement protocols.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between farm operators and the Terradot science team, translating field observations into actionable insights.

Reporting, Planning & Team Building

  • Provide regular updates to headquarters on deployment progress, partner health, and regional market dynamics; contribute to volume forecasting and logistics cost modeling.
  • Represent Terradot at industry events, co-op meetings, grower association gatherings, and field days across the region.
  • As operations grow, recruit and lead a regional field team — establishing the culture and operational norms of Terradot's U.S. presence.

You will stand out if you

Required

  • 7+ years in agricultural operations, sales, or agronomy — with significant time in or around terminal, retail, and/or farm-level operations in the Mid-South or Delta region.
  • Deep familiarity with the Mississippi Delta ag market: crops (cotton, corn, soybeans, rice), supply chain structure, and key players.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex logistics: trucking, bulk product handling, and on-farm application coordination.
  • Strong existing relationships with terminal operators, ag retailers, co-ops, or large farm operations in the region.
  • Comfortable with soil data, agronomic recommendations, and field-level R&D programs.
  • Valid driver's license; willingness to travel extensively within region.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience with soil amendments, lime, or specialty input products.
  • Familiarity with carbon markets, soil carbon measurement, or sustainability-linked agricultural programs.
  • Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) credential or equivalent agronomic training.
