About the role

We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Event Sales Support professional to support our sales efforts across a number of key industry events. This role will play a critical part in driving table sales, building relationships with partners, and ensuring overall event revenue targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales of tables and sponsorship packages across multiple events
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and new prospects
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and generate leads
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, event operations, and sales) to ensure alignment
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance against targets
  • Contribute to achieving and exceeding event revenue goals.

Key Role Details

  • This role supports three key events taking place across Germany and APAC
  • Due to APAC coverage, early availability (morning hours) is required to align with those time zones
  • The position is structured as a 35-hour per week role
  • This is a Germany-based role, with a strong focus on supporting international (EMEA & APAC) events

Requirements

  • Previous experience in event sales, delegate sales, or B2B sales
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Results-driven with a commercial mindset
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working across different time zones when required
  • Fluency in English and German essential.

Additional Information

  • This is a freelance opportunity for a period of 5 months approximately.
  • Compensation includes a base hourly rate plus commission/bonus aligned to performance
