About Amplify

Amplify is a global digital entertainment and creator agency operating at the dynamic intersection of talent, content, and culture. Founded and headquartered in Australia and now spanning the Asia Pacific, United States, and beyond, we set out to redefine entertainment for the modern world. We collaborate with the world’s biggest brands and top digital talent to craft original campaigns, live events, social commerce, and high-impact digital production that truly connect with audiences everywhere.

At our core, we give brands the ultimate advantage on social feeds by doing something simple yet transformative: we help them create like a creator. We’ve traded bland brand-speak for pure, platform-native authenticity, combining sharp global perspective with a down-to-earth, genuine spirit. Because we think like creators, we are creators, ensuring we stay endlessly curious, act boldly, and move at the speed of culture. Welcome to your creator era. Welcome to Amplify.

The Role

As an Experience Designer at Amplify, you will help shape how Creatorverse looks, feels, and works for the people who use it every day — including brands, agencies, and creators. Creatorverse is Amplify’s proprietary Creator Marketing Operating System, designed to give clients, agencies, and creators the tools they need to manage and execute their creator marketing activities. You’ll be a key member of the Creatorverse team, working closely with Product and Engineering to turn requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma. You’ll work within an established design system, building on existing patterns and components rather than starting from scratch. You’ll also be expected to clearly explain the thinking behind your designs, including how different screens, interactions, and user scenarios should work. This role requires a combination of strong design skills, clear communication, independence, attention to detail, and good business judgement.

Creatorverse is an important part of Amplify’s product strategy. We’re evolving from delivering campaigns for clients one at a time to providing clients, agencies, and creators with a platform they can use as part of their everyday workflow. The product is still growing, the team is lean, and there is a great opportunity for you to contribute ideas and help shape the product as it develops.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Execution

  • Create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity Figma designs for web and mobile experiences.
  • Translate product requirements and PRDs into clear and intuitive user experiences that align with the product roadmap and delivery timelines.
  • Work closely with the Product team to clarify requirements and ask questions when information is incomplete or unclear rather than making assumptions.
  • Create responsive designs that work effectively across different screen sizes and devices.
  • Define interaction, motion, and UI states clearly enough for Engineering to implement.
  • Prepare well-organized design files with clear layer naming, component usage, and documentation to support smooth developer handovers.
  • Document different states and scenarios, including loading, empty, error, success, and other relevant user states.

Design System Management

  • Work within and contribute to the ongoing development of the Creatorverse design system.
  • Use established patterns and components wherever appropriate to maintain consistency across the platform.
  • Prioritize existing design patterns over creating custom solutions unless there is a clear user or product need.
  • Identify opportunities to improve or expand the design system when existing components do not adequately support new requirements.
  • Help keep the design system organized, relevant, and easy for the wider team to use as the product evolves.

Communication & Design Advocacy

  • Clearly explain the reasoning behind design decisions to Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate not only how a design looks, but also how it should work, including interactions, behaviors, and edge cases.
  • Present and explain your work during PRD reviews, design discussions, handover sessions, and sprint demonstrations.
  • Participate actively in design reviews and incorporate relevant feedback into your work.
  • Be comfortable explaining and defending design decisions while remaining open to alternative approaches and focused on the overall project goals.

Collaboration with Engineering

  • Develop a practical understanding of front-end and back-end considerations to ensure designs are realistic and technically feasible.
  • Work closely with Engineering during development to clarify design questions and resolve implementation blockers.
  • Provide timely feedback and guidance when developers have questions about design behavior or specifications.
  • Review implemented features against approved designs and identify any significant differences before release.
  • Work with Engineering and Product to resolve design or implementation gaps before they affect the final user experience.

User Insight & Validation

  • Conduct focused user research and usability testing to better understand user needs and validate design decisions.
  • Use research and feedback to identify opportunities for improving the user experience.
  • Focus on obtaining meaningful insights rather than relying solely on large-scale surveys or high-volume data.
  • Consider accessibility and usability throughout the design process rather than treating them as final checks before release.
  • Use available data, research, and user feedback to support design decisions while recognizing when professional design judgement is being applied.

Autonomy & Work Management

  • Manage your own priorities and workload based on product requirements, project timelines, and release schedules.
  • Balance competing priorities and adjust your focus as project requirements change.
  • Work effectively in a remote and collaborative environment with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Take responsibility for managing your time and delivering agreed outputs within the required timelines.
  • Proactively raise potential issues, risks, or blockers rather than waiting for them to affect delivery.
  • Work with the wider team to resolve blockers and keep projects moving forward.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience in Product Design, UX Design, UI/UX Design, or Experience Design.
  • Figma: Advanced proficiency in Figma is required, as it is our primary design tool.

  • Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive layouts and designing experiences across different screen sizes and devices.
  • Interaction Design: Understanding of interaction design, user flows, UI states, and web-based interactions. Experience with motion design is an advantage.
  • Visual Design: Strong visual design skills, particularly in typography, layout, hierarchy, spacing, and color.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify user and product problems and translate them into practical design solutions.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.
  • Location & Availability: Currently based in the Philippines, with the ability to maintain consistent daily working-hour overlap with the Sydney (AEST) team.

Preferred Skills

The following are advantageous but not required:

  • Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of programming and software development concepts to better understand technical limitations and collaborate effectively with Engineering. Coding experience is not required.
  • Marketplace Experience: Familiarity with platforms where the end users and the paying customers or business stakeholders may be different groups.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the creator economy, influencer marketing, AdTech, MarTech, digital advertising, or similar industries.
  • Notion: Experience using Notion for documentation, requirements, project collaboration, or task management.
  • Research & Testing: Experience developing and applying user research and usability testing methodologies to inform design decisions.
  • Remote Collaboration: Experience working with geographically distributed teams and collaborating with stakeholders across different countries and time zones.
