Product Marketing Manager

Vividly is the leading modern trade promotion management (TPM) solution built by and for the consumer packaged goods industry. From campaign creation to deductions management and promotion measurement, we help brands manage every element of trade spend. With our easy-to-use platform and industry-leading experience, we pride ourselves on our ability to bring businesses to the next level.

Not familiar with trade promotion spend?  That’s OK.  Most people aren’t.  It’s an $8 trillion dollar problem that is ripe for disruption by an innovative SaaS startup.  In order to grow, consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands spend 20% of their topline revenue to get into retailers and promote their products within those retailers.  The problem is that today 70% of those promotions are not ROI positive. This is because ROI is hard to track.  The industry operates on emails, pdfs, and xls spreadsheets. At Vividly, we’re solving this massive problem with exciting tactics including AI, Machine Learning, and Fintech and adding value to everyone in the chain. Some of our customers include brands you may use and love - Liquid Death, Amy’s, and Perfect Snacks.

About the Role

Vividly is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to serve as the connective tissue between our product, customer success, sales, and marketing teams. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that will define how we communicate product value, both internally and externally, as we continue scaling into the mid-market and enterprise CPG space.

You'll be the first dedicated PMM at Vividly, which means you'll have the opportunity to build the function from the ground up with the full support of a lean, revenue-oriented team and a robust tech stack.

What You'll Own

Product Release Communication & Customer Education

  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to proactively communicate product releases directly to customers, ensuring they understand what's new, why it matters, and how to use it
  • Build and manage a scalable release communication framework that coordinates across product, CS, sales, and marketing
  • Own the go-to-market process for new feature launches from early awareness through post-launch adoption

Sales Enablement

  • Develop enablement materials that articulate the strategic differentiators of both new and existing product capabilities, including talk tracks, one-pagers, battle cards, and competitive positioning
  • Arm the sales and SDR teams with the context they need to confidently sell and demo new functionality, especially as we continue moving upmarket
  • Translate product specs into business value for finance and sales personas, our two core buyers

Feature Adoption & Revenue Impact

  • Define and track metrics around feature adoption, customer engagement, and the revenue impact of product releases
  • Set goals around adoption rates and upsell revenue tied to new functionality
  • Work with CS and RevOps to identify upsell opportunities unlocked by product releases and build the campaigns and materials to activate them

Product Advocacy Program

  • Help build and formalize a product advocacy group, structured, incentivized, and consistently engaged
  • Leverage power users and customer advisors to surface real-world feedback, validate messaging, and generate case study content
  • Help transition the organization from ad hoc customer feedback to a repeatable voice-of-customer program that informs both roadmap and positioning

Who You Are

  • 4-7 years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, ideally with exposure to CPG, retail, or trade promotion management
  • Startup experience is required. This role wears many hats, operates cross-functionally, and expects you to build process where none exists
  • Proven ability to translate complex product functionality into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience owning go-to-market launch processes end to end, not just the deck, but the cross-functional coordination and follow-through
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, lean environment where priorities shift and autonomy is expected
  • Data-driven. You set goals, track outcomes, and use results to iterate
  • Strong collaborator who can earn trust across CS, sales, and product without formal authority

Why This Role

Our product is shipping features faster than our customers know about them, and our sales team is selling a roadmap that doesn't always have the enablement to back it up. This hire will directly close that gap and own the process that keeps it closed.
