Integration Solutions Engineer

Vividly is the leading modern trade promotion management (TPM) solution built by and for the consumer packaged goods industry. From campaign creation to deductions management and promotion measurement, we help brands manage every element of trade spend. With our easy-to-use platform and industry-leading experience, we pride ourselves on our ability to bring businesses to the next level.

Not familiar with trade promotion spend?  That’s OK.  Most people aren’t.  It’s an $8 trillion dollar problem that is ripe for disruption by an innovative SaaS startup.  In order to grow, consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands spend 20% of their topline revenue to get into retailers and promote their products within those retailers.  The problem is that today 70% of those promotions are not ROI positive. This is because ROI is hard to track.  The industry operates on emails, pdfs, and xls spreadsheets. At Vividly, we’re solving this massive problem with exciting tactics including AI, Machine Learning, and Fintech and adding value to everyone in the chain. Some of our customers include brands you may use and love - Liquid Death, Amy’s, and Perfect Snacks.

We’re looking for an Integration Solutions Engineer who can bridge the gap between solution architecture and integration engineering. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how a customer’s business and accounting processes work, translating those requirements into scalable technical solutions, and then being hands-on in bringing those integrations to life.

Integrations are a core part of the Vividly customer experience. You’ll play a critical role in helping us onboard customers faster while also helping us evolve from highly customized integrations toward more standardized, reusable integration patterns.

What You'll Achieve

As an Integration Solutions Engineer, you’ll become an expert in Vividly, CPG accounting workflows, ERP systems, APIs, and our integration platform.

You’ll partner with customers, Solution Architecture, Implementation, and Engineering to translate business requirements into technical integration designs. You’ll then be hands-on in designing, building, testing, deploying, and troubleshooting integrations between Vividly and customer ERPs, banks, and other systems.

You’ll develop expertise in workflows such as Cash Application, Deduction Reconciliation, revenue, master data, and other financial processes. You’ll also bring technical and ERP expertise into solution design conversations when system capabilities or constraints influence the recommended approach.

Beyond individual customer implementations, you’ll help identify recurring patterns, integration gaps, and opportunities to improve our APIs and integration framework so that what we build becomes increasingly repeatable and scalable.

In This Role, You'll Help The Team:

  • Design and build integrations between Vividly and customer ERPs, banks, APIs, and other systems using Workato and other integration technologies.
  • Partner with Solution Architecture to translate approved business and accounting workflows into scalable technical integration designs.
  • Lead technical discovery around ERP capabilities, APIs, authentication, data availability, system constraints, and integration feasibility.
  • Consult directly with customers on technical architecture, data flows, system capabilities, and integration best practices.
  • Define data mappings, transformations, integration logic, and synchronization cadence required to support approved workflows.
  • Own the technical integration workstream from design and connection through internal testing, customer UAT, deployment, and technical handoff.
  • Build clear technical documentation and solution blueprints so requirements, mappings, dependencies, and integration behavior are understood across teams.
  • Develop deep expertise across ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Microsoft and other systems within our customer ecosystem.
  • Support live integrations, troubleshoot transaction failures, respond to ERP/API changes, and help identify root causes and scalable fixes.
  • Partner with the Integrations Lead on architecture standards, reusable integration patterns, internal automation, and improvements to how we onboard integrations.
  • Identify recurring product and API gaps and partner with Product and Engineering to improve Vividly’s APIs and integration capabilities.
  • Help standardize integration patterns to reduce custom development, improve reliability, and accelerate implementation timelines.
  • Provide technical guidance on complex edge cases where ERP or integration constraints affect the customer solution.

You May Be A Good Fit For The Role If You:

  • Have 3+ years experience of designing or developing technical solutions for client adoption
  • Have hands-on experience working with REST APIs, including authentication, requests/responses, pagination, error handling, and troubleshooting.
  • Understand relational databases, data models, and data transformation.
  • Are comfortable working with JSON, API payloads, field mappings, and transformation logic.
  • Understand integration concepts such as scheduled polling, webhooks, retry/error handling, data integrity, and monitoring.
  • Are comfortable leveraging AI tools such as Claude to boost efficiency for development and documentation
  • Have experience integrating ERPs such as Dynamics 365, NetSuite, SAP, and QuickBooks
  • Can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate between business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Are comfortable working directly with customers to understand technical requirements, challenge assumptions, and recommend solutions.
  • Have experience with an iPaaS platform such as Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Celigo, Tray.io, or have built software integrations directly.
  • Are not afraid of working in a scrappy startup environment, being resourceful to find solutions to problems, or improving systems without direction.
  • Enjoy documenting what you learn and turning one-off solutions into repeatable patterns and scalable frameworks.
  • Have excellent communication skills, able to clearly prioritize needs and risks
  • Want to have a foundational impact at a Series B startup
  • Have experience with accounting or financial workflows; familiarity with Cash Application, Deduction Management, Trade Promotion Management, or CPG accounting is a plus.

How You’ll Work

You’ll report to the Integrations Lead and work closely with Solution Architecture, Implementation, Product, and Engineering.

Our operating model is built around a simple principle: Solution Architecture defines what the business workflow needs to accomplish. Integrations determine how our systems make it happen.

In practice, there will be overlap. We expect our Integration Solutions Engineers to understand the business context behind what they’re building and to contribute technical and ERP expertise during solution design. At the same time, you won’t be expected to independently own every aspect of a customer’s accounting process, project management, or broader implementation.

The goal is to give you the context and ownership needed to design great technical solutions while preserving the focus required to actually engineer them.
