About the role

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients by assisting with vehicle maintenance and service needs. The service valet/porter will be the primary point of contact for customers dropping off and picking up their vehicles and will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Greet customers and provide a warm and welcoming experience upon arrival.
• Assist customers with vehicle drop-off and pick-up, ensuring all necessary paperwork and information is collected.
• Direct customers to the appropriate service advisor or technician, based on their needs.
• Maintain organized and clean service lanes, ensuring all vehicles are properly tagged and labeled.
• Monitor vehicle flow and communicate with service advisors and technicians as needed to efficiently manage workload.
• Provide updates to customers on the status of their vehicle repairs and estimated completion times.
• Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or issues with professionalism and urgency.
• Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing vehicles, including mileage and service notes.
• Ensure the service area and customer waiting areas are clean and inviting.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Park and retrieve customer vehicles in an organized and efficient manner
• Wash and detail customer vehicles as needed
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely completion of service appointments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
