Overview

 

As part of the Technology Services team at Free Market Health, the Integration Engineer will be responsible for implementing, deploying, and configuring integrations across a variety of healthcare entities.

 

As part of a growing team in a high-growth company, we are looking for a healthcare integration-focused individual that will contribute to building business-driven, effective integrations with our partners. The optimal candidate will understand our technology stack and core business functions as they relate to healthcare processes and will be able to apply automation-focused technology solutions to ensure our systems are in sync with our partners. The Integration Engineer will need to have a keen sense of understanding around how healthcare technology systems communicate and collaborate in the process of defining requirements, testing, and delivering functional integration solutions that enhance our business and clinical processes.

Specifics

The specific responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

-      Supporting Free Market Health's integration operations.

-      Maintaining operational excellence through continuous process improvement.

-      Applying best practices for data security and integrity on every integration.

-      Flexibility while managing complex partner systems.

-      Passion for learning new technologies and applications.

 

Qualifications

-      3+ years’ experience working with technology integration channels, preferably in a smaller organization or with an advanced level of solution ownership.

-      Experience working with Integration Engines, preferably NextGen Mirth Connect.

-      Experience with core healthcare technology integration scenarios such as claims billing, API development, message conforming and transformation.

-      Strong expertise in JavaScript.

-      Familiarity with SFTP and managed file transfer tooling, such as MoveIT, GoAnywhere, Visual Cron.

-      Working knowledge in common healthcare integration protocols like REST, SOAP, FHIR, HL7.

-      Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.

-      Working knowledge of JSON and XML data interchange formats.
