Our Physician Assistants play a critical role in delivering compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care, helping ensure patients receive timely evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment across a broad spectrum of mental health needs.

This role exists to provide high-quality clinical care, support patient access, and contribute to improved outcomes for individuals and communities we serve.


What You’ll Do

Patient Evaluation & Treatment

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric conditions using evidence-based practices
  • Prescribe medications and/or psychotherapeutic interventions as appropriate
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered mental health care
  • Manage patient panels in a timely manner based on clinical acuity and best practices

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with mental health professionals, primary care providers, and family members as appropriate
  • Participate in interdisciplinary discussions to support comprehensive treatment planning
  • Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach in all interactions
  • Attend weekly Provider Rounds and monthly All-Staff meetings
  • Stay engaged with clinical and administrative communications across organizational platforms

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records for all patient encounters
  • Ensure adherence to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Follow best practices in documentation, prescribing, and clinical care

Professional Development

  • Stay current with advancements in psychiatry, including emerging treatments and medications
  • Participate in continuing education and training opportunities
  • Continuously grow and refine clinical skills to provide high-quality care

Education, Experience & Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant
  • Experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

The pay range for this role is:

130,000 - 150,840 USD per year (Remote (United States))
