Our Physician Assistants play a critical role in delivering compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care, helping ensure patients receive timely evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment across a broad spectrum of mental health needs.
This role exists to provide high-quality clinical care, support patient access, and contribute to improved outcomes for individuals and communities we serve.
What You’ll Do
Patient Evaluation & Treatment
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric conditions using evidence-based practices
- Prescribe medications and/or psychotherapeutic interventions as appropriate
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered mental health care
- Manage patient panels in a timely manner based on clinical acuity and best practices
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with mental health professionals, primary care providers, and family members as appropriate
- Participate in interdisciplinary discussions to support comprehensive treatment planning
- Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach in all interactions
- Attend weekly Provider Rounds and monthly All-Staff meetings
- Stay engaged with clinical and administrative communications across organizational platforms
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records for all patient encounters
- Ensure adherence to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Follow best practices in documentation, prescribing, and clinical care
Professional Development
- Stay current with advancements in psychiatry, including emerging treatments and medications
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities
- Continuously grow and refine clinical skills to provide high-quality care

Education, Experience & Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
