Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Operations Manager based in India to support and operationalize Fueling Brains’ marketing strategy. This role acts as a key liaison between our Director, Marketing in Calgary and the India-based content studio team that you will help build and lead.
You will be responsible for setting up, managing, and growing the India content studio—ensuring timely delivery of creative assets, maintaining marketing workflows, managing digital tools, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. This is a pivotal role in our global marketing engine, where collaboration, accountability, and creativity meet.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Content Studio Team Setup & Management
- Establish the India content studio by recruiting, onboarding, and training team members such as designers, video editors, copywriters, and web developers.
- Define roles, workflows, and tools to enable a high-performing, self-sufficient creative team.
- Provide hands-on management, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team culture aligned with Fueling Brains' values.
2. Creative Operations & Project Management
- Manage day-to-day operations of the content studio, ensuring that timelines, quality standards, and brand guidelines are met.
- Serve as the point of contact between the Director, Marketing (Calgary) and the content team to interpret briefs, manage revisions, and ensure clarity.
- Implement and refine project tracking tools and approval workflows to support on-time delivery of creative assets across channels (social, web, email, paid ads).
- Build and maintain a content calendar in alignment with the global marketing plan.
3. Marketing Tools & Digital Asset Management
- Support the maintenance of digital marketing tools used for SEO, campaign automation, and analytics.
- Manage content repositories, templates, and assets to ensure easy access and consistency.
- Oversee the development of website content, blog articles, newsletters, and marketing collateral by coordinating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Education:
- Master's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing operations or creative project management role, ideally in an agency environment.
- Proven experience managing marketing production teams in India or globally.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in directly managing and mentoring cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and content creators.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress and digital campaign execution (SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media).
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of marketing KPIs and ROI.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, WordPress, Asana (or other project management tools), and design review platforms (e.g., Figma or Adobe CC).
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication in English.
- Strong attention to detail, grammar, tone, and visual storytelling.
Work Environment Requirements
- Full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, India.
- Must be available for regular collaboration with North American teams (up to 30% time overlap with Mountain Standard Time).
- Ability to work independently while managing a distributed creative team.
