Role Overview:

We are looking for an Accountant with 3+ years of experience to join our finance team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background and experience in financial reporting. This role requires collaboration with teams across time zones (IST & MST).

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

• Execute day-to-day accounting transactions including bank & credit card transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
• Ensure all the books of accounts are up to date.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and perform variance analysis.
• Assist in audits and financial compliance.
• Support budgeting, financial planning, and cost control activities.
• Assist in analyzing financial data.
• Assist in financial forecasting and variance analysis.

Process Improvement & Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with global finance teams and support intercompany reconciliations.
• Help optimize accounting workflows and enhance internal controls.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: CA Inter/PCC/IPCC cleared.
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, Accounting certifications are preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Netsuite, Quickbooks or similar).
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a hands-on approach.
• Effective communication and ability to work across time zones.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
