We’re seeking a visionary Director of Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of our Sales Commissions and Quota Management Platform — a cornerstone of our go-to-market operations solution. This role will oversee multiple engineering teams responsible for delivering a world-class, scalable, and AI-enabled SaaS platform that transforms how enterprises manage their revenue operations.

As a senior technology leader, you will drive both product and platform excellence, blending strategic direction with deep technical acumen. You will shape the engineering culture, define architectural standards, and champion the integration of AI across enterprise workflows — from intelligent automation and predictive analytics to contextual insights that empower customers to operate smarter and faster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive engineering strategy for the Commissions & Quota Management Platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and innovation across all releases.
  • Lead multiple engineering teams and senior managers — setting clear priorities, establishing technical excellence, and mentoring future leaders.
  • Partner with Product, Data Science, and Design leadership to translate business vision into actionable technology roadmaps with measurable customer outcomes.
  • Architect and evolve a modern, AI-driven enterprise SaaS platform that leverages automation, anomaly detection, and intelligent recommendations.
  • Foster a culture of engineering excellence through disciplined processes, code quality, observability, documentation, and operational rigor.
  • Shape and enforce platform standards for performance, scalability, reliability, and security — including data privacy, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate AI and ML models into customer-facing and backend systems, ensuring they enhance usability and insight generation.
  • Drive continuous improvement in CI/CD, DevOps, and agile delivery practices to accelerate time-to-market without compromising quality.
  • Represent engineering in executive forums, providing clear updates on platform progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent, building a high-performing, collaborative, and AI-forward engineering organization.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership (managing multiple teams or managers).
  • Proven track record of building and scaling enterprise SaaS platforms serving large B2B customers.
  • Deep understanding of sales commissions, quota management, or incentive compensation systems (e.g., Xactly, Varicent, CaptivateIQ).
  • Strong background in multi-tenant SaaS architecture, data modeling, and API-driven ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI and ML in enterprise SaaS — such as intelligent automation, data enrichment, predictive analytics, or AI copilots.
  • Technical depth in cloud-native engineering (AWS, Azure, or GCP), distributed systems, and high-availability architectures.
  • Experience leading cross-functional collaboration across Product, Design, and Customer Success teams to deliver complex, customer-centric solutions.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a track record of influencing product direction and executive decision-making.
  • Ability to work with engineering teams across various time zones, including India and South America.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Revenue Operations (RevOps) or related go-to-market domains.
  • Familiarity with LLM-powered experiences or AI copilots in enterprise software.
  • Knowledge of data governance, model observability, and responsible AI frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
