What you'll do

As a Senior BDC Sales Consultant you will play a crucial role in our company's success. You will be responsible for cold calling local customers in each of our markets, introducing the concept of solar energy, and booking high-quality appointments for our solar consultants. Additionally, you will follow up with leads and customers in our database, ensuring a smooth sales process and maintaining high customer satisfaction. This role is the heart of our business, keeping everything moving and driving our growth.

  • Conduct cold and warm calls to local customers (daily hustle - minimum of 50 cold calls per day)
  • Lead generation - soliciting businesses, cold dm on socials, social media content, friends/family, community outreach
  • Introduce the concept of solar energy and its benefits
  • Book high-quality appointments
  • Follow up with leads and customers to gather necessary data for system design
  • Answer inbound phone calls and book appointments
  • Quickly reply to and manage inbound internet leads
  • Rebook stale appointments not caught by the local branch consultants
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and appointments
  • Communicate effectively with customers to overcome objections and provide excellent service

BDC Consultants will also be trained to close their own appointments. Setting quality appointments that are likely to convert into new business is the goal. Expectation to set a minimum of 2 appointments per day and no less than 5 deals per month.


Qualifications

  • Comfortable and confident on the phone
  • Previous sales experience required
  • Ability to overcome objections
  • Strong ability to work in software programs such as CRM, Google Workspace, etc.
  • Fluent in English, other languages an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented
  • Describe the experience and attributes of the ideal candidate

Compensation:

  • This role is 100% commission
  • Paid per appointment 
  • Potential to earn six figures (based on productivity and performance)
  • Bonus and incentive program
  • Benefits: Eligible after 3 months of employment

    • Monday to Friday 
    • Early shift 8am start and late shift 10am start
