ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Owner to lead the development of our CRM software for gyms, which includes handling payments, memberships, and class scheduling. In this role, you will be at the forefront of product development, creating a user-centric platform that enhances the experience for gym owners, staff, and members alike.
As a Sr. Product Owner, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, define product requirements, and ensure smooth execution of the agile development process. You will play a critical role in shaping product strategy, translating vision into detailed deliverables, and helping us build a product that delivers real value to the fitness industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the design and development of new features, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy
Write detailed requirements, business rules, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria
Collaborate closely with UX designers, architects and development teams to refine user stories and enhance screen designs
Provide timely responses to client inquiries and assist in resolving product issues
Gather client feedback to identify product improvements and contribute to feature prioritization
Oversee active sprints, ensuring story development and bug fixes meet business requirements
Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business needs, customer impact, and technical considerations
Facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, grooming, demos, reviews, and retrospectives
Assist with the creation of release notes and product documentation to support product launches
RESULTS
Deliver a high-quality, user-friendly CRM platform tailored to the gym industry.
Provide developers with clear, actionable requirements to enable timely delivery
Ensure the product is released on schedule with minimal defects
Address product issues and blockers quickly to keep the development process on track.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in product design, including creating detailed user stories with clear business requirements and UI interactions
Expertise in defining and testing story acceptance criteria
Experience providing customer-facing product support
Familiarity with Stripe or other payment processors is a strong plus
Experience in adjusting UI designs in Figma is a strong plus
Experience working with applications that integrate with APIs is highly desirable
Product design experience with CRMs, membership systems, or fitness software is a plus
Hands-on experience with Jira and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for managing sprints is essential
The pay range for this role is:
130,000 - 140,000 USD per year (United States)
