Role Description
At Galileo, you'll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of GenAI application evaluation and observability.
We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic-minded Strategic Account Executive to drive revenue by cultivating relationships with large, complex enterprise accounts. This role requires expertise in engaging with executive-level stakeholders, navigating complex buying processes, and managing larger deal sizes.
Main Responsibilities
As a Strategic Account Executive at Galileo, you will leverage your experience in handling large, intricate deals to expand our presence in high-value enterprise accounts.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a long-term, strategic account plan focused on penetrating large enterprise accounts and driving sustainable revenue growth.
- Enterprise Prospecting: Identify, engage, and qualify strategic business opportunities within high-value, complex accounts through advanced research, networking, and targeted outreach.
- Executive Engagement: Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders, understanding their broader business objectives and aligning Galileo’s solutions to drive value.
- Consultative Selling: Act as a strategic advisor, conducting needs assessments and providing tailored recommendations to address clients' complex challenges with our GenAI Evaluation and Observability platform.
- Complex Negotiations and Deal Structuring: Lead multifaceted negotiations, structuring deals that align with enterprise clients’ procurement processes while maximizing value for both parties.
- Strategic Pipeline Management: Maintain a high-quality pipeline of large enterprise deals, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective pipeline progression for larger accounts.
- Market Insights and Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—especially Product and Customer Success—to share enterprise client feedback, influence product roadmaps, and ensure customer success.
- Thought Leadership: Represent Galileo at industry events, webinars, and conferences, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the AI and ML space.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales or strategic account management, with a focus on complex, high-value deals in the software or technology sector.
- Sales Acumen: Proven record of successfully closing larger deals and meeting/exceeding targets within enterprise environments.
- Technical and Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, or related fields, with the capability to articulate complex solutions to senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Negotiation and Influence: Demonstrated expertise in negotiating high-stakes deals and influencing decision-makers at all levels within enterprise organizations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills tailored for executive-level discussions and relationship building.
- Strategic Problem-Solving: Advanced analytical skills to address complex business challenges, craft tailored solutions, and present them persuasively.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to align on strategic goals and drive enterprise account success.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support sales activities.
