AI Developer Advocate

Galileo is hiring (2) AI Developer Advocates. One will be based in either SF or NY working in a hybrid environment, and the other can be based fully remote.

Role Description

We’re looking for an expert Developer Advocate to support AI leaders and engineers in accelerating their journey from development to production. Part of our Developer Awareness team, you will be instrumental in building Galileo’s brand and content strategy. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AI and a passion for educating through engaging content.


Your role will involve writing technical blog posts, creating demos and tutorials, producing videos, and engaging with the developer community through social media and industry events. As a Developer Advocate, you will help position Galileo as a thought leader in the AI space by answering AI builders’ most pressing questions and showcasing how Galileo’s platform can enhance their development process. You will also serve as a conduit for our product and engineering teams, collecting valuable product feedback and insights from our community.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise: Build and demonstrate applications using ML and AI tools and infrastructure.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with the developer community through in-person and virtual events, building relationships with thought leaders, influencers, and industry peers.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality, public-facing content across digital and physical channels, including blog posts, tutorials, videos, and social media.
  • Network: You have and are eager to build a network of thought leaders, influencers, and industry peers. 
  • Collaborate: Collaborate with growth and product marketing to evangelize campaigns and new product announcements.
  • Research: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and research, and share your findings internally and externally

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a developer advocate, software engineer, or technical marketer
  • A strong social media presence or interest in building one
  • Experience organizing meetups or other events
  • Entrepreneurial with a passion for education, content creation, and community engagement
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and infrastructure across the stack 
  • Experience playing with the latest GenAI models and applications
  • Experienced with Python and Typescript 
  • Experience in a growth-stage startup is a plus
