Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated SDR Team Lead to join our growing team. The individual will be responsible for leading and managing a team of SDRs while also carrying an individual quota. This role requires a blend of leadership skills, sales acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.


As a SDR Team Lead, you will work with Sales, Marketing, and our founders to generate new business opportunities for Galileo. As a team, we bring unparalleled energy, enthusiasm, and curiosity to our jobs. We’re looking for entrepreneurial individuals who are growth-obsessed and want to grow their careers within Sales. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of SDRs to achieve individual and team targets

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the SDR team's performance, including but not limited to prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement to ensure the success and growth of team members

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective lead generation campaigns and processes

  • Own personal quota and actively contribute to the overall sales pipeline by generating and qualifying leads through outbound prospecting efforts

  • Utilize CRM tools such as Hubspot, Outreach, Sales Navigator and other sales technologies to track and report on team and individual performance metrics

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and drive continuous improvement

  • Act as a liaison between the SDR team and other departments to facilitate effective communication and alignment of goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 3+ years of professional work experience

  • 1.5+ years of documented success as an enterprise SDR Team Lead in B2B SaaS

  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role required

  • Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, with experience meeting or exceeding quotas

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills

  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving performance and achieving targets

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach, Sales Navigator, LinkedIn, Google products) and other sales productivity tools

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI and/or working with a technical audience
