This is an hybrid role based in Burlingame, CA with the team working together in person 2 days per week.

Role Description

We're looking for a Senior Visual Designer to elevate Galileo's brand presence across all marketing touch points. As the lead designer on our Marketing team, you will own the visual expression of our brand, creating cohesive designs that communicate complex technical concepts with clarity and sophistication. The ideal candidate will combine strong graphic design fundamentals with a strategic understanding of B2B technology marketing.


Your role will involve designing across multiple channels, from our website and digital marketing materials to event collateral and sales enablement assets. As our Senior Visual Designer, you will establish and maintain Galileo's visual identity system, ensuring consistency while pushing creative boundaries. You will work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to create compelling visual stories that resonate with AI builders and enterprise decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Design: Own and evolve Galileo's visual identity system across all touchpoints
  • Creative Direction: Provide art direction for marketing campaigns and creative projects
  • Web Design: Lead the visual design of our marketing website, landing pages, and digital experience
  • Marketing Collateral: Create high-impact designs for digital and print marketing materials, including presentations, white papers, case studies, and social media content
  • Event Design: Design engaging booth graphics, signage, and promotional materials for trade shows and events
  • Sales Enablement: Develop visually compelling sales presentations and leave-behinds
  • Design System: Maintain and expand our design system to ensure brand consistency
  • Collaboration: Partner with content creators, product marketers, and external vendors to deliver exceptional creative work

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional visual design experience, with at least 3 years in B2B technology or enterprise software
  • Outstanding portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand design, digital design, and print design
  • Proven experience establishing and maintaining visual design systems
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience designing responsive websites and digital marketing assets
  • Understanding of design principles, grid systems, and color theory
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear visual communications
  • Experience collaborating with marketing and product teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
  • Experience in a growth-stage tech startup is a plus
  • Motion design skills are a plus

Galileo is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for commission, equity, and company sponsored benefits/perks.

  • The annual pay range for this role is  $130,000-$160,000 USD.
