Compensation & Benefits


Hourly position with annual discretionary bonus. 


One (1) week vacation annually, seven (7) personal days annually, employer contributions to health, dental, and vision insurance, and employer 401K match and profit sharing.


Job Description


Currently recruiting for a detail-oriented and experienced Printer/Graphics Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating large format digital printers and laser printer and be comfortable working with a variety of materials including vinyl, fabric, acrylic, and other substrates commonly used in the sign making industry to prit high quality graphics for our clients. The Printer/Graphics Operator will play a key role in reviewing drawings, ordering materials, and setting up the printers to print to specifications. This role will work intimately with other production team members, the Design Department, and the Install Department.


Role Responsibilities

  • Work closely across departments and within the production team to coordinate job priorities and meet assigned deadlines
  • Read, review, and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Set up machines, load files, and ensure the correct tooling and settings are used for each job
  • Operate printers to print graphics onto custom signs from various materials including vinyl, acrylic, fabric, and PVC
  • Monitor the printers to ensure quality and efficiency, cleaning and making adjustments as needed
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet design specifications and company standards
  • Assist with other production team tasks, as requested

Qualifications


Experience with software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, or similar design programs required. Familiarity with Canon Arizona a plus. Must be able to:

  • Lift 50 lbs
  • Sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Reach, push, pull, bend, squat
  • Drive (have valid driver's license)
  • Wear personal protective equipment, when required (e.g. safety glasses, hard hats)
  • Work in loud environments

The pay range for this role is:

50,000 - 61,750 USD per year (6511 Chillum)

60,000 - 74,000 USD per year (6511 Chillum)
