Compensation & Benefits


Salaried position with annual discretionary bonus. 


Two (2) weeks vacation annually, seven (7) personal days annually, employer contributions to health, dental, and vision insurance, and employer 401K match and profit sharing.


Job Description


The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, scheduling, management, and execution of custom signage projects and architectural fabrications. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the signage project, maximizing resources, and supporting departmental objectives while documenting and updating the client and relevant parties on key milestones along the way. The Project Manager checks all work continuously throughout the process and ensures effective communications and relationships between clients and project team members are maintained. The Project Manager is responsible for tracking and meeting established budgets. In addition, the Project Manager bestows a positive and encouraging attitude to support our clients’ vision and the team’s involvement.


Role Responsibilities

  • Follow and help advise on established project management policies and procedures
  • Work with Sales department and client in managing the client’s expectations regarding timeline and costs
  • Work with the Estimating department to ensure consistency in cost proposals for the materials and overall costs, based on engineered drawings and specifications
  • Thoroughly review conceptual and preliminary drawings with the work order and the client’s interest before requesting production drawings
  • Ensure that bid documents, project scopes, production drawings, and/or any related documentation is appropriately reflected in the work order
  • As necessary, explore alternate fabrication options and possible subcontracting avenues
  • Liaise with departments to complete work within specified time frames and keep orders within budget
  • Review the contract documents to verify compliance with contract terms
  • Identify, track, and monitor all project related variances, scope changes, or contingencies throughout the project
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication among departmental colleagues and project teams, ensuring seamless coordination and information flow
  • Ensure each department is using the appropriate materials by verifying dimensions, components, and cross reference them to the work orders and the production drawings
  • Assist each department with quality control throughout the production process
  • At times, may personally manage and physically assist in the staging of completed products to their next departmental destination
  • Verify the project team has the necessary materials and tools to complete the project prior to their assignment
  • Occasionally travel to in-state and out-of-state properties and locations for work related tasks and functions
  • Prepare and present oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations
  • Provide inter-department feedback based on customer needs and market demands

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of signage industry experience managing projects. PMP certification, construction industry and/or manufacturing industry experience desirable.

  • Drive (have valid driver's license)
  • Ascend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs
  • Read blueprints and construction drawings
  • Work outdoors in cold or hot weather
  • Wear personal protective equipment, when required (e.g. safety glasses, hard hats)
  • Work in loud environments

The pay range for this role is:

65,000 - 81,250 USD per year (6511 Chillum)

60,000 - 78,000 USD per year (Remote)
