GenLogs Corporation

Director of Product- Shippers

GenLogs is a transportation-technology company building the next generation of truck intelligence. Through a nationwide network of sensors and proprietary data, we deliver real-time, high-fidelity insights into freight movement for commercial supply-chain customers and public-sector agencies.

Our mission is to strengthen America’s logistics backbone, combat freight fraud and cargo theft, and provide near-instantaneous visibility into commercial motor vehicle activity across major freight corridors.

By operating at the intersection of edge sensing, computer vision, AI-driven analytics, and large-scale field deployment, GenLogs is transforming how transportation data is captured, secured, and commercialized.

ABOUT THE PRODUCT TEAM
The Product team at GenLogs defines, designs, and delivers the systems that convert complex sensing, compliance, enforcement, and supply-chain needs into powerful, intuitive products.

We own the strategy and roadmap across the Trident sensing ecosystem, partnering with customers to understand operational challenges while working with Engineering and Data Science to build solutions that scale nationally.

Our team ensures that GenLogs’ technology is simple to deploy, easy to use, and materially impactful for public-sector and private-sector users. We value clarity of thought, customer intimacy, and disciplined execution, driving the development of products that strengthen public safety, reduce fraud, and improve the efficiency and reliability of America’s freight network.

ABOUT THE JOB
We’re hiring a Director of Product to lead our Shippers Vertical, owning the products that serve freight owners, retailers, manufacturers, and logistics operators.

Your mission is to transform real-time freight data into operational intelligence that customers rely on daily to run their businesses.

You will define how GenLogs becomes:

  • A system of record for freight visibility
  • A decision engine for supply chain operations
  • A proactive defense layer against fraud, theft, and disruption

This is not a dashboard role. You will build AI-native, operational products that directly influence how freight moves across the country.

HOW WE WORK
We move fast, prioritize shipping over perfection, and operate with high transparency.

We believe:

  • Speed is a competitive advantage
  • Clarity drives alignment
  • Feedback should be fast and visible
  • The best ideas emerge through iteration

Your role is to drive alignment across engineering, data, product, and customer-facing teams. You’ll synthesize insights from customers and internal partners, shape the product vision, and keep the team unblocked and focused. Clear communication, rapid iteration, and thoughtful coordination are core to how we work and how you’ll help us deliver exceptional products.

WHO THRIVES HERE

This role is ideal if you love tackling ambiguity and thrive in high-growth environments where you need to think both strategically and operationally. You move fast and make decisions without hesitation. When you hit a roadblock, you're obsessed with finding the answer rather than waiting for permission. You communicate clearly in writing, embrace open feedback, and aren't afraid to share half-formed ideas in public channels because you know that's how the best solutions emerge. You're not scared of true product ownership. You'll roll up your sleeves, obsess over getting the right answers, and care deeply about the details that make or break the user experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own product strategy and roadmap for the Shippers Vertical
  • Lead product discovery, working directly with customers to understand workflows, pain points, and decision-making processes
  • Own and communicate the product roadmap, serving as the single-threaded owner across leadership, engineering, and GTM teams
  • Lead the creation of new data products and AI-powered applications that turn raw freight data into actionable insights
  • Define product requirements by deeply understanding shipper workflows (planning, execution, exception management), balancing speed, technical feasibility, and real-world usability
  • Drive rapid iteration with Engineering and Design, shipping quickly, learning from usage, and continuously improving
  • Define and track success metrics tied to operational outcomes (efficiency, loss reduction, ROI)
  • Partner with Customer Success and GTM to drive adoption, retention, and expansion

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, data products, or analytics platforms
  • Proven ability to take products from concept → launch → iteration
  • Experience working closely with Engineering and technical teams
  • Strong customer discovery and user research skills
  • Ability to translate complex systems into simple, intuitive experiences
  • Track record of shipping products on predictable timelines
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills
  • Comfort operating with high autonomy and accountability

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations-focused products
  • Familiarity with TMS, ERP, or logistics platforms
  • Experience with geospatial data or real-time systems
  • Background in machine learning or data-intensive products
  • Startup or high-growth company experience

WHY JOIN US

  • Build cutting-edge technology shaping the future of freight, logistics, and situational intelligence.
  • Work with world-class engineers, data scientists, and industry experts.
  • Help define the product culture, process, and long-term strategy as we scale.
  • Meaningful ownership, real impact, and the opportunity to create category-defining products.
