ABOUT THE PRODUCT TEAM
The Product team at GenLogs defines, designs, and delivers the systems that convert complex sensing, compliance, enforcement, and supply-chain needs into powerful, intuitive products. We own the strategy and roadmap across the Trident sensing ecosystem, partnering with customers to understand operational challenges while working with Engineering and Data Science to build solutions that scale nationally. Our team ensures that GenLogs’ technology is simple to deploy, easy to use, and materially impactful for public-sector and private-sector users. ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking to bring on a seasoned product leader to take the helm of the company’s product strategy and execution. The Chief Product Officer (CPO) will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across a growing portfolio of data-driven platforms and vertical applications. This role owns product outcomes end-to-end—from customer discovery and data-informed strategy through execution, delivery, and continuous iteration at scale.
The ideal candidate has deep experience translating complex data, analytics, and technical capabilities into intuitive, high-impact products that serve multiple customer segments and industries. They are a proven organizational leader who can build and scale high-performing product teams while partnering closely with Engineering, Data, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver meaningful business results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Vision & Strategy
- Define and own the long-term product vision and strategy across multiple platforms and vertical solutions
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities, markets, and use cases by synthesizing customer feedback, market signals, and data insights
- Ensure product strategy aligns with company goals, revenue growth, and customer value creation
- Balance near-term execution with long-term platform investments and technical leverage
Data-Driven Product Leadership
- Champion the use of data, analytics, and experimentation to inform product decisions
- Translate complex data capabilities (e.g., analytics, ML, platform infrastructure) into customer-facing value
- Establish clear success metrics, KPIs, and feedback loops to measure product performance
- Drive a culture of hypothesis-driven development and continuous learning
Roadmap Ownership & Execution
- Own the product roadmap across all products and verticals, ensuring clear prioritization and sequencing
- Partner with Engineering and Data leaders to align scope, timelines, and technical feasibility
- Ensure predictable, high-quality product delivery while maintaining agility
- Make informed tradeoffs between speed, quality, and scalability
Product Organization & Team Building
- Design, build, and scale a world-class product organization (PMs, designers, researchers, etc.)
- Establish clear product operating models, rituals, and decision-making frameworks
- Coach and develop product leaders and individual contributors
- Define clear ownership boundaries and collaboration models across Product, Engineering, and Data teams
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as a key executive partner to Engineering, Data, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Work directly with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather insights and validate direction
- Support go-to-market efforts by clearly articulating product value and differentiation
- Represent product strategy at the executive level and with external stakeholders when needed
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with senior leadership experience in a data-driven or platform-based company
- Proven track record building and scaling product organizations in high-growth environments
- Experience delivering products across multiple customer segments or verticals
- Strong background working closely with engineering and data teams on technically complex products
- Experience leading multi-product organizations
- Deep understanding of data, analytics, and how to operationalize them into products
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to execute at a detailed, operational level
- Excellent judgment in prioritization, tradeoffs, and decision-making
- Exceptional communication skills—able to align executives, teams, and customers
- Customer-obsessed, outcomes-focused, and comfortable operating in ambiguity

GenLogs establishes compensation based on role, level, experience, and location. Salary bands are benchmarked against high-growth technology companies and adjusted for market conditions. Equity grants are included in most full-time offers to ensure every team member participates in the company’s long-term value creation.
