ABOUT THE GTM TEAM

The Go-to-Market team at GenLogs is responsible for bringing our nationwide commercial-vehicle intelligence platform to the agencies and enterprises that depend on trustworthy, real-time freight visibility. We work directly with state and federal law-enforcement partners, departments of transportation, ports, shippers, carriers, and brokers to define problems, scope operational deployments, and scale high-impact programs. As the commercial face of GenLogs, we translate the capabilities of the Trident sensor network and Argos data platform into clear value propositions that strengthen public safety, reduce fraud and theft, and improve supply-chain reliability. The team operates with urgency, precision, and deep market understanding, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to ensure our solutions solve the most important problems in the freight ecosystem.


ABOUT THE JOB 

GenLogs’ Head of Marketing will be a critical pillar in helping us continue our tremendous growth journey. This leader will be responsible for developing a Marketing strategy that supports our FY26 AOP and immediately lead critical Marketing functions such as Field Marketing, Brand & Website, and Customer Advocacy. As our first marketing leader, you’ll own the entire marketing strategy – while working closely with the GTM Leadership Team and Product Team to deliver the outcomes needed to drive continued success for GenLogs! 


WHAT YOU’LL DO


Strategy & Leadership


  • Develop and own the overall marketing strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team as we grow.
  • Define and track key marketing KPIs to measure performance and ROI.
  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive pipeline and revenue.
  • Work closely with sales to optimize lead generation, nurturing, and conversion.


Field Marketing


  • Manage all field marketing related events such as conferences and trade shows attended by the GenLogs Team
  • Lead all efforts to track ROI of events such as pipeline and business extracted 
  • Make thoughtful recommendations about attending future events based on forecasted value 


Brand & Communications


  • Refine and communicate our brand positioning and messaging.
  • Oversee PR, content, and thought leadership efforts to elevate our brand presence.
  • Manage external agencies or freelancers as needed for creative and comms support.


Customer Marketing


  • Build customer advocacy and referral programs.
  • Leverage customer success stories to drive credibility and trust in the market.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • 10+ years of enterprise SaaS marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a B2B tech company (startup experience strongly preferred).
  • Experience in freight, logistics, transportation, or supply chain tech is a major plus.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling marketing functions.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with data and marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Roll-up-your-sleeves attitude—you thrive in ambiguity and can execute as well as strategize.
  • Experience launching into enterprise or mid-market verticals. 

US SALARY RANGE

GenLogs establishes compensation based on role, level, experience, and location. Salary bands are benchmarked against high-growth technology companies and adjusted for market conditions. Equity grants are included in most full-time offers to ensure every team member participates in the company’s long-term value creation.
