People Operations Manager

ABOUT THE JOB

This role is responsible for establishing GenLogs’ foundational HR and recruiting processes, policies and tools, building the foundation for the company’s rapid growth.  You will work across functions with stakeholders and leaders across the organization to help bring in the best talent to GenLogs and enable them to do their best work.  We’re looking for a self-starter to drive the vision for what recruiting and human resources functions will look like at GenLogs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build, update, and maintain HR processes, policies, and SOPs for compliance as we scale, some examples include:
    • Background checks
    • Employee handbook
    • Compliance trainings
    • State and federal compliance reporting
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Benefits management
    • Setting up and educating employees on benefits/insurance
    • Manage annual benefits renewals process
  • State payroll tax compliance and management, including but not limited to:
    • Registrations
    • Filings
    • Maintenance,
    • Monitoring and 
    • Researching tax notices
  • Manage relationships with our EORs and own people operations for our LATAM workforce
  • Partner with hiring managers to drive recruiting efforts and own recruiting processes
    • Partner with hiring managers on opening and hiring for new roles
    • Mange applicant tracking system
    • Aid in sourcing and recruiting candidates where applicable
  • Collaborate with business partners on cross-functional projects
  • Annual insurance renewals and worker's comp updates
  • Maintaining and monitoring HRIS system: Rippling
  • Help finance team administer payroll

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated experience in HR and recruiting functions
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, execution-driven settings with evolving requirements.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of complex projects and deliver results with limited guidance.
  • Experience at an early-stage startup or mission-driven technology company.

US SALARY RANGE

GenLogs establishes compensation based on role, level, experience, and location. Salary bands are benchmarked against high-growth technology companies and adjusted for market conditions. Equity grants are included in most full-time offers to ensure every team member participates in the company’s long-term value creation. A recruiter will provide a precise range during the hiring process.
