Lead Recruiter

GenLogs is a transportation-technology company building the next generation of truck intelligence. ABOUT THE JOB

GenLogs is rapidly scaling and planning to double its team over the next year.  We are hoping to bring on our first inhouse recruiter to lead are hiring efforts and build out our recruiting function at WorkRamp!  This role is responsible for establishing GenLogs’ recruiting infrastructure, including the systems, processes, policies and tools required to support the company’s rapid scale-up. You will work cross-functionally with leaders within the organization to source and hire top talent.  We’re looking for a self-starter to drive the vision for what recruiting function will look like at GenLogs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build and own end-to-end recruiting process for the company. Build systems, processes and infrastructure and ultimately own full-cycle recruiting for roles across Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and G&A

  • Partner with founders and leadership to define hiring plans, headcount priorities, and role requirements aligned with company goals

  • Design and implement recruiting infrastructure, including ATS setup, interview processes and offer workflows

  • Source and close top talent, personally handling outbound sourcing, screening and offer negotiation for critical roles

  • Build hiring manager capability, coaching leaders on interviewing, candidate evaluation, and closing techniques

  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience, creating clear, consistent, and human processes from first touch to onboarding

  • Plan for scale, laying the foundation to hire additional recruiters or agencies as the company grows.  Work with third-parties as appropriate to balance fast and cost effective hiring.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, including in-house recruiting at a high-growth startup
  • Proven success scaling teams rapidly (e.g., doubling headcount or supporting aggressive hiring plans)
  • Experience hiring across multiple functions, especially engineering and go-to-market roles
  • Strong outbound sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, creative sourcing strategies)
  • Ability to operate autonomously and prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, especially with founders and executives
  • Deep understanding of interview design, candidate assessment, and closing strategies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience as the first or one of the first recruiters at a Series A or Series B company
  • Experience building recruiting processes and infrastructure from scratch
  • Familiarity with common ATS platforms
  • Experience hiring in competitive talent markets
  • Passion for early-stage companies and building teams from zero to one

US SALARY RANGE

GenLogs establishes compensation based on role, level, experience, and location. Salary bands are benchmarked against high-growth technology companies and adjusted for market conditions. Equity grants are included in most full-time offers to ensure every team member participates in the company’s long-term value creation. A recruiter will provide a precise range during the hiring process.
