HR Generalist – Dallas Office

This role offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact our growing firm and help shape the future of our HR function across our Dallas, Fort Worth, and Austin offices.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as a key HR partner for our Dallas, Fort Worth, and Austin offices, ensuring seamless support across locations with a focus on consistency, compliance, and fostering strong relationships.
• Collaborate closely with office leaders and team members, offering tailored HR support in areas like benefits administration, payroll administration, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance coaching, leave administration, and employee development.
• Champion GFF Design’s people-first culture by supporting employee engagement and retention through meaningful initiatives and local programming.
• Provide expert guidance on employment law, policies, and compliance at the federal, state, and local levels, ensuring GFF Design’s practices align with legal requirements.
• Work alongside firm leadership on company-wide initiatives, including benefits strategy, compensation planning, and professional development programs.
• Continuously assess HR processes and systems, seeking opportunities to improve the employee experience and drive operational efficiencies.
• Utilize data and feedback to proactively identify and address HR challenges, offering solutions that drive positive change and foster a supportive workplace.

What You’ll Bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within professional services firms.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of federal and multi-state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency with HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP time/leave management systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills—approachable, solution-oriented, and a trusted advisor.
• Curiosity and a growth mindset, collaborative spirit, and a genuine passion for developing people and processes.
• Proven ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
• Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction is a strong advantage.
