Graphite is a growing boutique finance, accounting & strategy firm built to help startups scale efficiently and sustainably. US Tax Associate

Experience required: 3+ years in US Taxation 

Shift Timings: Flexible Shifts, any 8 hours (Excluding Breaks) between 12 PM IST to 10 PM IST

Work Days: Five days a week (Monday to Friday)

Work Location: Full Time – Permanent Remote/Work from Home 

Equipment Required: All the equipment to be provided by the company and delivered to the candidates. However, Candidates should have reliable internet service and workspace.

Candidate should have hands-on experience as per below job description (other duties may be assigned):

• Accounting Graduate/Post Graduate or any relevant professional accounting degree.
• Preparation of US State and Federal business tax returns and various tax documents 
• Assist with preparing and filing franchise tax returns
• Excellent understanding of US Accounting and taxation laws. (Experience with R&D Tax credit, and/or sales & use is a plus)
• Ability to perform tax research to help solve complex client tax issues
• Able to work successfully with tech platforms to complete projects on time, experience with UltraTax and CCH is a plus
• Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Ability to handle multiple client deadlines with a good level of quality 
• Ability to multi-task & work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills are necessary
