Senior Director of IT Infrastructure

Executive Summary:

The Senior Director of IT Infrastructure is responsible for leading IT infrastructure operations to support a company providing outsourced finance and accounting services. This role ensures robust cybersecurity and data privacy, oversees helpdesk functions, manages cloud and network operations, and responds to client security inquiries. The position drives IT strategy, implements performance metrics, and maintains compliance across US and India operations, supporting both internal and client-facing needs.


Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure operations for 100+ users across US and India, supporting business operations for outsourced finance and accounting services

• Collaborate with third-party MSP to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity controls

• Develop, implement, and maintain strong data privacy and security controls to protect sensitive financial information

• Respond to client questionnaires regarding security controls and data privacy measures

• Oversee internal IT helpdesk function, ensuring efficient user support and issue resolution

• Manage cloud and network operations, optimizing performance and reliability

• Create and implement an IT scorecard to measure and monitor key IT trends and metrics

• Drive IT infrastructure strategy alignment with business objectives and industry best practices

• Ensure compliance with relevant IT, finance, and data protection regulations in both US and India

• Manage IT infrastructure budget and vendor relationships


Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's preferred

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, data privacy regulations, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA)

• Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and network operations

• Experience in supporting IT needs for finance and accounting services

• Familiarity with financial industry compliance requirements and security standards

• Experience working with managed service providers (MSPs) and vendor management

• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategies and KPIs

• Experience in responding to client security assessments and questionnaires
