The Role

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the core of our platform. You'll work across our agent coordination layer, backend infrastructure, and integration surfaces — designing the systems that orchestrate AI agents, manage living documentation, and connect to enterprise codebases and workflows.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who thinks in terms of what AI-native systems make possible, not just what traditional software can do. You'll contribute to architecture decisions, define APIs and data models, and work closely with our founders and early customers to shape what we build. The best candidates will be excited to leverage AI as a first-class building block — using agents, LLMs, and automated reasoning where others would default to hand-rolled logic — while staying pragmatic about what to ship.

What You'll Do

• Design and build backend systems that orchestrate multi-agent workflows across large enterprise codebases
• Develop APIs and integration surfaces that connect Glover's platform to customer systems (source control, CI/CD, ticketing, legacy datastores)
• Contribute to the architecture of our core platform, including our agent coordination layer and Living Spec data model
• Collaborate directly with design partners and customers to understand requirements and iterate quickly
• Set engineering standards and help define how we build as the team grows

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of owning and delivering complex systems
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals — system design, API design, distributed systems, data modeling
• Experience working with or building on top of LLM APIs and AI-powered tooling
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and the realities of working with legacy infrastructure
• Experience in regulated industries (financial services, insurance, healthcare) is a plus, but not required
• Comfort with ambiguity — we're early, and you'll help define the roadmap as much as execute against it
• Strong communication skills; you'll interface with customers and stakeholders, not just internal teammates
