The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable HR Manager to continue to build, guide, and evolve our HR function in alignment with changing business priorities. This individual will play a critical role in shaping and sustaining a strong, connected culture while remaining highly visible and engaged across teams and locations. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to pivot with intention, and can scale people programs, processes, and infrastructure to meet the company’s growing and evolving needs. This role reports directly to our Director of Finance and manages one direct report.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide strategic leadership in change management, organizational effectiveness, and talent management across Goddard Technologies’ professional services organization.
· Own and manage the HRIS (Rippling), maintaining and expanding existing tools and programs to continuously enhance the employee experience, drive engagement, and support retention.
· Implement scalable HR programs across the organization, including annual performance reviews, employe engagement initiatives, comprehensive employee benefits, and policy development and rollout.
· Lead a small HR team, managing and mentoring an HR Generalist and supporting their work in employee data, performance management, and HR program administration.
· Develop strong working relationships with management across the business and provide coaching, guidance, training opportunities and consultation on full-cycle employment matters.
· Own and manage the Learning Management System (LMS), implementing HR and additional trainings throughout the year, overseeing communications, and facilitating training sessions to ensure employee development and compliance.
· As a cultural steward, lead initiatives that reinforce the company culture through active communication, observation, and follow-up.
· Own talent acquisition and recruiting activities; manage Rippling ATS, monitor headcount levels and staffing plans, manage and maintain recruiting agency relations and partner with the internal leadership to determine effective recruitment strategies to support long-term workforce planning and resource management, prioritize hiring needs, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
· Handle employee relations matters with confidentiality and kindness
· Ensure compliance with legislative regulations, industry best practices, and state-specific employment laws.
· Own People Analytics and employee engagement survey data to monitor trends and metrics, proactively develop solutions based on data and desired outcomes, and track progress to drive business results
· Liaise with internal leadership and external counsel as required on matters where legal guidance is needed to mitigate risk to the company.
· Enthusiastically take on additional responsibilities that may be assigned by the Company from time to time.
Qualifications:
· Knowledge of HR best practices and U.S. employment laws and their implications in HR management.
· Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including Engineering, Operations, and Corporate functions.
· Ability to influence others and drive behavioral change where appropriate.
· Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to research and exercise sound judgment on HR issues.
· Ability to identify opportunities and propose and implement practical solutions.
· A dynamic professional with strong business acumen.
· Demonstrated conflict resolution and change management skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
· High level of integrity and respect for confidential and sensitive information.
· Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
· Experienced presenter and facilitator with the ability to engage cross-functional audiences.
· A hands-on professional with strong interpersonal and motivational skills who is also a self-starter and highly organized.
Education:
4-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Professional certification by either the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) or Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) strongly preferred.

The pay range for this role is:
