The Role:


Goddard is seeking a dependable and proactive Office Administrator to help keep our workplace running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you’ll create a clean, welcoming, and well-organized environment that allows our engineering and project teams to stay focused and productive. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks—from managing facilities and logistics to coordinating internal events and supporting day-to-day administrative operations.


This is an hourly, full-time position located at our headquarters in Beverly, MA and will report to the HR Manager.


Key Responsibilities:


Workplace Operations

  • Welcome visitors to the Beverly office and ensure a smooth check-in experience
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and client-ready office environment
  • Manage inventory and ordering for office and kitchen supplies; implement recurring orders as needed
  • Handle shipping, receiving, returns, and mailing needs for the broader administrative team
  • Regularly restock breakrooms, snacks, beverages, and shared spaces
  • Monitor cleaning vendor performance and escalate maintenance issues to Operations or building management
  • Coordinate logistics and hospitality for visiting clients and team members
  • Prepare visitor spaces to ensure a polished, professional presentation
  • Assist with setup and removal of desk equipment as needed
  • Support in-office culture initiatives, including planning and executing events, socials, celebrations, and team activities.

Administrative Support

  • Provide general support to HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and IT teams as needed
  • Assist with the setup and logistics of client and internal meetings, including coordinating lunch orders
  • Manage office and technical supply orders in collaboration with the IT team
  • Maintain access to SignIn (Visitor management application) and update printer service logs regularly
  • Submit and track expense reports, procurement logs, and minor budgets
  • Respond promptly and professionally to internal support requests

Additional Responsibilities

  • Optimize office layouts and improve organization systems as needed
  • Maintain security systems, including badge access and visitor logs, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
  • Collaborate with IT to coordinate maintenance and upgrades of office equipment


Qualifications:

  • Available to work onsite at our Beverly office, Monday through Friday during standard business hours
  • Previous experience in office administration, facilities coordination, or a similar role is a plus
  • Enjoys creating a warm, welcoming, and well-supported environment for both employees and visitors
  • Proactive, organized, and eager to take initiative to improve the workplace
  • Brings a positive attitude—and ideally, a good sense of humor—to everyday work

The pay range for this role is:

22 - 28 USD per hour (Beverly Office)
