About the role

Go Fish Digital is looking for a detail-oriented, technically minded HubSpot CRM Operations Specialist to join our team and support CRM, marketing automation, and lead management efforts for our clients. This is a part-time, temporary contract role, with the potential for successful candidates to be considered for future full-time opportunities.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has hands-on HubSpot experience, enjoys building clean systems, and is excited to help clients get more value from their CRM. In this role, you’ll help build, maintain, and troubleshoot HubSpot workflows, CRM properties, lead scoring models, lifecycle stages, routing logic, dashboards, and integrations.

As a CRM Marketing Specialist, you’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to turn marketing and sales requirements into scalable HubSpot systems that support cleaner data, better reporting, smoother lead handoffs, and more efficient campaign execution.

What you'll do

  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot HubSpot workflows that support lead management, lifecycle stage progression, sales handoffs, customer onboarding, retention, and internal notifications.
  • Configure and manage HubSpot properties, lists, forms, lead statuses, lifecycle stages, and segmentation logic.
  • Maintain CRM data quality through regular audits, database hygiene, duplicate management, list cleanup, and process documentation.
  • Create and manage MQL and SQL definitions, lead scoring models, lead qualification logic, and lead routing workflows.
  • Support campaign launches by ensuring forms, lists, workflows, tracking, routing, and reporting are properly configured in HubSpot.
  • Manage and troubleshoot HubSpot integrations with connected marketing, sales, analytics, and business development tools.
  • Build and maintain HubSpot dashboards and reports related to lead generation, funnel performance, campaign activity, pipeline health, and customer engagement.
  • Identify and resolve CRM setup, automation, data, reporting, and workflow issues that may impact marketing or sales performance.
  • Document HubSpot processes, workflow logic, naming conventions, reporting definitions, and CRM best practices.
  • Provide HubSpot guidance and technical support to internal teams and clients as needed.
  • Stay up to date with HubSpot platform updates, CRM operations best practices, marketing automation trends, and integration capabilities.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of hands-on HubSpot experience, preferably in a CRM operations, marketing operations, revenue operations, or technical marketing role.
  • Strong experience building and troubleshooting complex HubSpot workflows.
  • Experience managing CRM data quality, custom properties, lists, lifecycle stages, lead statuses, and segmentation logic.
  • Experience configuring lead scoring, MQL/SQL definitions, lifecycle automation, and lead routing processes.
  • Comfort working with HubSpot reporting, dashboards, attribution, and funnel performance data.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot integrations and connected marketing, sales, analytics, or business development tools.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot workflow, data, syncing, and reporting issues.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear HubSpot requirements and execution plans.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation, and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with both internal teams and clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • HubSpot Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and/or Operations Hub certifications.
  • Experience with HubSpot Operations Hub, data sync, custom properties, automation rules, and integration management.
  • Experience supporting B2B marketing, sales, revenue operations, or client-facing agency teams.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, data syncing, or integration troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with CRM governance, attribution tracking, lifecycle reporting, and funnel management.
  • Experience supporting sales handoff processes, pipeline reporting, and lead management workflows.
  • Understanding of email marketing, segmentation, and customer journeys is helpful, but this is not an email strategy role.
