What You Will Do:


As a Corporate Development Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our growth strategy. Your mission will be to evaluate potential growth opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and oversee acquisitions and investments. You will lead our expansion efforts, ensuring that each opportunity aligns with our strategic goals and financial objectives.


In this hands-on position, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in pinpointing new markets and growth opportunities for both regulated and non-regulated businesses of GrandBridge Corporation.
  • Support the origination of new investment and partnership opportunities.
  • Assess the alignment, financial viability, and regulatory implications of potential opportunities.
  • Conduct detailed financial modeling and risk assessments.
  • Provide comprehensive support throughout the M&A process, from initial contact to integration, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new opportunities.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Track market trends, industry developments and emerging technologies to guide strategic decisions.
  • Deliver regular updates and reports to the leadership team on the progress and outcomes of corporate development activities.


What You Will Bring

  • MBA or University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years in corporate development, M&A, investments, or strategic planning.
  • Experience in participating in due diligence processes.
  • Prior experience in the Power & Utilities sectors preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a passion for growth and the energy transition.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office suites, data management and reporting skills.
