GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Content Creator is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that strengthens brand identity, engages key audiences, and drives business growth. This role requires a high degree of creativity, strategic planning, and independent judgment to ensure that all content aligns with the company’s marketing goals. The Content Creator will oversee storytelling efforts across multiple platforms, analyze performance metrics, and continuously refine content strategies to maximize engagement and impact.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
I. Strategic Content Development
· Develop and execute a long-term content strategy that aligns with business objectives, ensuring consistency across all digital platforms.
· Create and manage an editorial calendar to guide content production and distribution.
· Lead brainstorming sessions to generate creative campaign ideas and original content initiatives.
· Generate topic ideas and craft informative blog posts that educate readers and are optimized for search engine performance.
II. Brand Storytelling & Creative Direction
· Craft compelling, brand-aligned narratives that reinforce Grange Co-op’s cooperative ownership model, lifestyle branding, and community engagement.
· Ensure that all content, including video, photography, and written pieces, adheres to brand guidelines and effectively communicates the company's values.
· Work closely with designers, videographers, and marketing team members to oversee the creative development of digital assets.
III. Digital Engagement & Performance Analysis
· Utilize Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Mailchimp to track content performance and optimize strategies for increased engagement and conversion.
· Monitor industry trends, algorithm updates, and social media innovations to keep Grange Co-op at the forefront of digital marketing.
· Conduct audience analysis to refine content targeting, improve campaign effectiveness, and enhance customer interaction.
· Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend data-driven content improvements.
· Create best practices for content presentation and social media communication.
IV. Marketing Campaign Integration
· Partner with the eCommerce, Purchasing, and Retail teams to ensure promotional messaging is aligned with overall marketing strategies.
· Develop email marketing content and digital ads that drive measurable results.
· Oversee the creation of landing pages and website content to support campaigns and product promotions.
V. Community Engagement & Public Relations
· Establish influencer collaborations and partnerships that align with the brand’s mission.
· Serve as a key brand representative in online interactions, ensuring a consistent and professional brand voice.
· Must be comfortable appearing on camera and actively engaging with the community and employees to help create compelling content.
VI. Process Optimization & Innovation
· Develop and implement content approval workflows to streamline operations and maintain quality control.
· Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in content production and distribution.
· Stay up to date with emerging digital marketing tools and recommend adoption where applicable.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have direct reports but provides leadership in content strategy and execution across departments.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
· 3+ years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or brand storytelling.
· Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic content development and execution.
· Experience with Google Analytics, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and other digital marketing tools.
· Must have experience with Adobe Express and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications.
· Proven ability to develop engaging content that aligns with a brand’s voice and mission.

The pay range for this role is:
